The photos truly show how relaxing it is there. On top of that, a great hostess made the stay even better. The charming wooden house has everything you need—even insect net protection!

Walking to Žabljak can sometimes be a bit challenging, as a local person told us that the road is private. It's clear that more tourists are coming, but in some areas they might not be welcome. A shortcut to Žabljak that doesn't require cars would be beneficial for Kovačka Dolina.

Unmatched Hospitality and Stunning Views: A Cozy Retreat at Green Top

I recently stayed at Green Top in Žabljak, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They even took the time to create a personalized one-day itinerary based on our preferences, which made exploring the area so much easier and more enjoyable. The mountain views from the property were absolutely breathtaking—better than we could have imagined. But what really stood out was how cozy and comfortable the accommodation was. After a day of adventuring, it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. If you're looking for a mix of nature, comfort, and outstanding hospitality, Green Top is the place to stay!

One thing worth mentioning is that the bathroom is proportional to the overall size of the property, meaning it’s on the smaller side. For us, this wasn’t an issue at all—it fit perfectly with the cozy charm of the place. However, some travelers who prefer more spacious bathrooms might want to keep this in mind. That said, everything was clean, functional, and well-organized, so we didn’t feel inconvenienced in the slightest.

Very clean, beautiful view, and has all needed facilities. The host Vasilija is so nice and helpful with any assistance and recommendations. We had a very pleasant stay. Definitely planning to stay again at Greentop.

The last 150 meters of the way to the accommodation needs to be improved. The pillows were a pit high and hard.

The accomondation was very peaceful, safe, cozy and clean and the aircondition worked perfectly (anf it was a hot day). The host was most amazing and I would recommend this place for everyone.

First class Montenegro experience.

The host was super friendly and professional, location is stunning, check in and check out couldn’t be more pleasant, super clean and fresh facility, welcome drinks and farewell drinks (homemade specialties), and amazing assistance with planning the trips to local secret spots in Durmitor and Tara Canyon. You honestly can’t ask for a better accommodation, and they even offer to lend you hiking equipment like walking sticks free of charge, so you get a lot more for the price than you actually expect🤩

An amazing place with a great view of the mountains and meadows, peace and space around you. The house is new, equipment is nice and comfortable, everthing is clean. Internet for 11 point from 10. The host is friendly and helpful in everything. Great place to relax and getting to know Durmitor (of course you need a car or bicycles).

A small kitchen with basic equipment, but I believe if anything more you need, the host would arrange it. Small bathroom, but this is also not a big problem. Worse access road for the last 200 m. But the positive things greatly outweigh these small negatives.

Nice stay for visiting the region of Zabljak away from downtown.

Nice view over alpine-like meadows and mountains, a 10min car ride from Zabljak downtown. Vasilija tries everything to make your stay comfortable. Danica in the atletski camp besides assists with very good English and basic needs as laundry, breakfast (4 €, with coffee 5) and basic lunch or dinner (5 € per person).

Kitchen and bathroom are not huge, but correspond to the pictures. Furthermore we noticed that value for money is not as great as we thought in Montenegro, 75,- € per night is not expensive, but neither a bargain.

Mountain coziness

We loved every single thing about this. Vanja was amazing since the moment we booked the house, giving us all the information needed. It was easy to find the house. Amazing view of the Durmitor from our porch. Houses are new and very equipped for everything you need, and Vanja was there always to make us feel like home. She was very helpful and kind. We are definitely going back again. Amazing place with amazing and nice people.

Beautiful location. Very friendly and supportive hosts. The room is a small wooden house with sleep on top and cooking/dining/tv/washroom etc. on the ground floor. Quite convenient.
