Everything was good

We collected the key from the reception desk near Kyoto Station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and they also offered a luggage delivery service for early key collection, so there was no need for us to be present at the property — which saved us a lot of time! The property has a very traditional Japanese style, perfect for those who want to experience a classic Japanese home. It is clean, beautifully maintained, and conveniently located close to several tourist attractions.

Die Lage der Unterkunft ist super. Man ist direkt an der pagode und ist auch sonst super schnell in gion und anderen Vierteln.

Die Unterkunft an sich konnte leider nicht punkten, ja es handelt sich um ein typisches Machiya Haus, dennoch leben wir im Jahr 2026 und ich war vorher in anderen Machiya Häusern die es auch geschafft haben dennoch Komfort zu bieten. Etwas zum sitzen oder verweilen sucht man vergeblich entweder man sitzt im kargen und sehr lieblos eingerichteten essbereich oder man legt sich ins Bett, andere Möglichkeiten existieren nicht. Ja das nötige ist da, aber mehr auch nicht. Sehr trostlos und verbrauchtes Potential.
