Amazing location, very comfortable, extremely friendly and helpful staff
Walls were paper thin! We could hear our neighbours talk, go up and down their stairs, use their washing by machine etc..

A beautiful traditional Japanese townhouse experience. Rinn Kyoto Yasaka South offers a peaceful atmosphere, elegant design, and a perfect location in the heart of historic Kyoto. Clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

The traditional themed accommodation was an interesting change from the usual rooms. The checkin process was good to be able to do the paperwork near the station where we arrived then have a taxi take us near the accommodation.
It was a bit run down and showing signs of wear throughout. The staff would like to enforce policies different to those as written on the basis they usually get away with charging people without complaint, although in our case eventually we were refunded to match the booked conditions.
