L’emplacement juste à côté du quartier de Gion. La maison décorée avec goût. Le calme.
L’escalier qui monte à l’étage mais c’est stipulé dans l’annonce. La cuisine aurait besoin d’un peu plus d’ustensiles pour cuisiner.

La petite maison traditionnelle en bois. L’emplacement exceptionnel à Gion. Les équipements, les chambres avec tatamis Le choix de dormir sur un futon ou un lit Le personnel, le taxi pour arriver
Le manque de tout rangement en bas…pas de crochets pour les manteaux, pas d’étagères pas de petits paniers…alors qu’un espace débarras est bien prévu. Les réglages de salle de bain un peu compliqués

The location is amazing: a short stroll to Kodaiji Temple Bamboo forrest, Ninenzaka, Sannenzaka & so many beautiful temples. It was a fantastic experience living in a traditional home.
We found the futon beds very hard. A couple of the beds were double stacked so a bit more comfortable but we didn't get the best sleep. Very narrow, steep staircase upstairs, it was fine for us & our teens but something to keep in mind when booking (we left our suitcases in the small room downstairs rather than lugging them up).
