The little cottage was somewhat clean (bathrooms, linens, kitchen, floors, etc.
The place really does need a "deep cleaning". The baseboards throughout the cottage had not been cleaned in quite a while. There were lots of knick knacks around and they needed to be dusted really bad.

Loved the home-like feeling. It was peaceful. Decorated so nice. We enjoyed the little time we got to spend at the Cottage. It had everything we needed to have for a normal day throughout the home. The car port was so nice keeping our rental car shaded. I loved loved loved the screened in back porch. The central air was so nice during our very hot visit. It kept up with daily 100° and over temps.
The mattresses were horrible. The 4 of us had very little sleep on our vacation due to them being so uncomfortable. We traveled from South Dakota to visit family we were exhausted the whole vacation. Also I recommend providing life jackets for the paddle boat and floaty. Also maybe some fishing poles. We never got the chance to enjoy the water because we flew and we didn't think to pack such things as life jackets and fishing poles.
