Suncatch Corner, Saxmundham

Heating was very good. Living room had plenty of seating. Internet good, tv had nice picture. Good finding milk in the fridge on my arrival.

The cooker was very old, not good to use. The bed was not very comfortable, probably the mattress. I didn’t find the information folder on arrival, it would be a good idea to leave it out somewhere. Having said this I would stay there again, the whole place was very cute.

Shower ran hot/cold every few seconds. Small issue but thought owners should know.

I loved the parking area and the patio to sit on in the sun. it was lovely to be able to walk to shops when needed and close to places of interest.

Good location, comfy bed and sofas, pretty clean apart from dubious brown smears on hall walls and door lintels. On-site parking.

The design of the place is so odd and I don’t think the owners have spent a night there themselves to see how it works (or doesn’t) for those experiencing it. There is nowhere to put anything in the bathroom or bedroom so everything had to go in kitchen or lounge. Crazy that the bedroom window does not nor cannot ever open (there’s no opening - why not in a bedroom…) and the only window in bathroom is those weird indoor windows into the bedroom so you disturb your partner if you go to the loo in the night. Building site downstairs which we were only messaged about a few days before arrival though there was no noise from it so wasn’t an issue just an eyesore. I recommend reversing into the drive so it’s not so hairy when heading back out onto the street if vans are parked nearby to hinder sight lines.
