the hotel is in a perfect location on the high street, and the decoration was beautiful: an historic building with tasteful renovations and stylish new finish. Really friendly staff. Felt welcome and perfectly safe as a solo female traveler. Safe space to store my bike. Super toiletries in the bathroom (including conditioner and moisturiser). Would happily return!

Note that there is no restaurant serving dinner, but with a superb French restaurant 200m away, this didn’t matter at all. Breakfast is served at the hotel.

Unexpected little gem with great staff! Will revisit!

If you like quirky non-chain boutique hotels this does hit the spot! Great decor in rooms (in our case a suite) and the public area. Staff & management are very polite, offer assistance with anything and I have the strong feeling that they'd do the upmost to please the guest! Much prefer these sort of hotels vs large corporates. Found by pure coincidence and will surely return!

Exceptional

Tasteful look& feel in a small boutique hotel where staff genuinely want guests to feel welcome, the rooms are comfortable and everything has just that little extra personal touch. I will definitely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again. Fabulous breakfast options,too!

Acoustic panelling in the rooms could be something worth investing in as the town clock and plumbing noise from other rooms can be heard on occasion. I got used to it quickly but a lighter sleeper might appreciate more soundproofing.
