This hotel served as our first overnight stop on our journey, and for that purpose, it was excellent. We utilized it for just one night before catching the train to Rome the following morning. The convenience is unbeatable: access to the airport is quick and easy, and the location is just a single block from the bus stop that takes you directly to the train station (presumably Bologna Centrale). This streamlined our morning departure perfectly.

We were given NOT the apartment that we booked.

All in all a good size of apartment in a quiet location, close to airport . Luckily there was coffee and tea

I booked two-bedroom apartment as we sleep in separate rooms , but when we arrived one bedroom was locked. The host was very rude when I asked why the other room is locked. He said, he didn’t know that we wanted two bedrooms, which I has written and asked for in advance , and he refused to open it. We were lucky that the sofa in the living room was also a bed and opened it, though it was quite old and dirty, and found some bedlinen. Also the place was full with things that had nothing to do with a pleasant stay , as though it has been an office or something .

Comfortable nights sleep before our early departure.

Perfect location for our very early flight home as it was walking distance from the airport. This property had everything & more and the beds were very comfortable. Once again it was in a quiet area

5pm check in is pretty late , we had to keep our travel bags with us all day, fortunately we didn’t have large suitcases

We loved the size, balcony, fully equipped kitchen,, 2 tvs, and the location near bus & airport & 2 restaurants.

Three shower walls were fiolding and water leaked easily. We had trouble storing luggage after a 10 am landing and a 5:00 check in. It would be great if he allowed luggage storage in the apartment since it was so big.

Just a roof above your head. Miserable.

The reason I chose this accomodation was the location and the fact I would receive an extra bedroom and seperate double bed. The location was the only thing that worked out well.

I was travelling with my elderly mother and our flight was cancelled and then rebooked by the airline for early in the morning. I had to chose something fast. Booking.com promised me an extra room so I booked this place because this way my mother and I could sleep in seperate beds/bedrooms. I communicated to let the owner know I was coming with my 87 year old mum. He could see we were given an extra bedroom on the paperwork thanks to my Genius status. At arrival I discovered the extra door was locked so we didn't have the two rooms we were promised. Luckily there was a sofa bed in the living room but it was very hard to bring down and there was NO extra bedlinnen, only a very thin blanket. In the main bedroom there was only a sheet and a light cover. As a result we both my mum and I were COLD. At arrival I called the owner who offered a refund, but I wanted him to bring us more bedlinnen instead, something he said he was unable to do. I found this unacceptable. In a different situation I would of course have left and rebooked. However my mum was too tired. We had a long journey behind us and ahead of us, so we decided to stay.

Very comfortable stay and amazing host. Highly recommended

This apartment is perfect if you’re looking for a comfortable place near the airport, for example if you have an early morning flight. It is only a 15 minute walk away, and the neighborhood is clean and quiet. The apartment is cozy, nicely furnished, and the host is extremely kind and helpful. Very comfortable beds, a well-furnished kitchen, and a cozy atmosphere. We brought our small dog and he instantly made himself at home. Highly recommended!

I was not particularly fond of the “vacation tax,” which must be paid in cash. This requirement is set by the Bologna municipality and is not related to the host, who I am sure would also prefer to do without it. Similar taxes are applied in other major Italian cities. While I understand that overtourism can negatively impact a city’s infrastructure and services, I do not see the reasoning behind requiring cash payments, as it gives the impression of a state payoff. Nevertheless, I found it somewhat inconvenient.

Took documents over WhatsApp and then cancelled the day before due to overbooking

Took all my documents over WhatsApp and then said they were overbooked and that I need to cancel. Booking.com did allow us to rebook to another property last minute But very unprofessional of this property to take our documents over WhatsApp and then determine that they are overbooked on the day before the trip, even though the property was booked a month in advance. Checkin time was also 5 pm and we were requesting something reasonable like 1 or 2 pm. But property owners decided to cancel our booking due to ‘overbooking’ instead

Nice apartment near the airport

Very nice apartments, with everything you need for a short stay, especially convenient for a late flight. You can even walk to the airport. The hosts leave tea, coffee and cakes in the apartments, which is a nice bonus for breakfast.

the location close to the airport was really convenient for us. The apartment itself is nice and convenient.

It was noisy in the building during the night and not well isolated between apartment. Also we had to pay a lot of City tax in cash to the host, which was never clear to us prior to the stay and ended up being quite an extra amount (30 extra euro for the night if I recall) the check-in and checkout timing were also very strict and not perfectly in line with what we thought from the initial announcement (18h check-in, prior to 10 check-out). Not a big deal, but not ideal in a text only message conversation with the host.

Easy to find location - actually walked from the airport in 20 minutes. Clean and comfortable inside. Close by to a lovely bakery/cafe and also easy to get into town via the bus stop just over the road. Rooms big enough and light and quiet inside. Excellent comms with the owners.

It it located very close to airport, so can walk from or to airport in max. 17 min. The bus to city center is very close. The host offered a bottle of really good red wine.

Rude and unwelcoming hosts, we would not stay at the property again

The accommodation was quiet and large with two rooms and a living room. Sure it was humid and cold, but there were air conditioners that worked well. The host tried to provide various information about our movement, albeit in a somewhat unorthodox way.

We received a no-reply email from the host just the night before, asking us to send him photos of IDs through Booking. Although we were very tired we tried to respond. The next morning, we received the same email. We called and explained that we are not that familiar with this process and asked that we give the IDs when we arrive or give us an email so we can send them. He flatly refused and continued to send the standard no-reply email threatening us that if we do not send the photo IDs, he will not allow us to enter the property. We felt embarrassed and offended. Having traveled all over Tuscany where we have always encountered courtesy and willingness to serve, this was rude and unacceptable behaviour.

The worst experience ever

The host depicted an outrageous behaviour. I booked the appartment shown in booking.com in Via Traversa 3. The instructions i got from the host were to another appartment in via Traversa 4, which was of very bad quality, very old inside, with mosquitos and a closed room. It resembled an old grandma's house from the 70's. When i realized that this was not the appertment i booked, the host admitted that he sent me to another appartment without letting me know, refused to refund me when i asked so and dissapeared from the app we used to exchange messages. Stay away!!

Close to airport but be aware of extra charge after your stay

The apartment is very close to the airport.

The kitchen is poorly equipped considering the number of guests that can stay there. The house number (3 on the Booking site) is not correct, it is number 4 so we had to wonder around looking for the right house. When we booked the apartment, we told the host we had small dogs and we were a family of 3 travelling together plus a friend from another country. After the stay, I receved a rather unplesant message, stating that we had broken the house rules by bringing the dogs (on the Booking site it says clearly: Pets allowed, no extra charge) and by using linen that was hanging on the balcony. We needed the linen as one of the beds had not been made. If a host doesn't want guests to use something in the apartment they rent out, they need to notify the guests in advance. They want to charge extra 30 euros for that! I've travelled around the world and this is the first time I receive a message of this kind after my stays. There was some wine in the apartment that we did not touch, we left the apartment clean, washed up dishes etc. so this reaction of the host came as a shock.

The owners Angy and Leo had a free open bar for those who stay in their flat, which was an excellent service for someone who has spent a day travelling in the heat of Italian summer. A glass of Prosecco helped to refresh and relax myself at the end of the day. I really appreciate their hospitality.

A/C working! and even some Petiscos that helped my son calm down as soon as we arrived !! although we only stayed one night, we lacked towels for us to take a shower. only the other day, I saw that there was a clothesline with an extended towel. and plenty of washcloths. otherwise, everything was very quiet … good to note that the building does not have parking …

Superb

The apartment is nice, clean, spacious and comfortable. Communication with the hosts was easy, they are kind and gave us thorough instructions how to access the apartment. It was a nice touch to have some snacks and drinks provided. There are bus stops nearby, the airport is close, it's less than 10 mins ride or 15-20 mins walking.

The shower cabin was a little narrow.

1) 15 min by foot to the airport and if you have an early flight - the best option for you 2) Clean & very cozy inside 3) Snacks, coffee, etc. were available and it was a great surprise 4) All the equipment to cook yourself 5) Code box to store keys

1) It was difficult to find it since there are 2 apartments - buildings #3 & 4. There is a tremendous handmade painted map on the wall and please share it with newcomers.

Hospitality beyond the call of duty

Ideal choice for a stopover, or early flight from BLQ. The airport terminal is a 15 min walk from the apartment, pavement all the way. Connected with frequent buses, but bear in mind it is 8 euro return for what is literally a 2-minute ride. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel comfortable: snacks, water, coffee, even pasta, oil, all the essentials. If you don't feel like cooking there is a pizzeria a stone's throw away, but I would check the closing times if you are arriving late.

Good location, very clean but much smaller than described

It was super clean and they provide you water, some snacks and some items of personal care like shampoo. The owners are commutative.

It was too small for a group of 5, says it has 3 bedrooms but is actually 2 and there is a sofa in the kitchen area that when opened you barely can walk. The request of taking the garbage out is completely unnecessary if they are going to clean afterwards. You have to take the garbage by stairs and walk outside the building a block and a half...crazy request.

An easy 10!

The property had everything you could think of and it was exceptionnally clean. The rooms are sufficiently large, the beds are comfy, the bathroom and kitchen are well-equiped with everything you need. The hosts are incredibly nice people and they helped us with indications and advice. They even prepared some snacks for our stay, so we had collazione every day of our holiday. It is easy to reach the property and it is very close to the airport (5 min in Bus, and the buses come every 20 min), so I highly recommend for an early flight. We were 3 girls and we felt safe, so I highly recommend the property. Love from Romania.
