The vacation apartment measures 33 m² and offers a cozy atmosphere perfect for relaxation. It is equipped with a modern kitchenette that has everything you could want. It’s a wonderful place to cook together as a couple. The apartment’s modern bathroom features a shower and toilet and is very spacious.

Parking at the building
At Villa Stranddistel, each apartment has one free parking space available at the building. However, apartments 2.7 and 4.1 offer only one parking space in a parking garage. The maximum vehicle height for these parking spaces is 1.60 m. If your car is taller than 1.60 m, we unfortunately cannot provide you with a parking space at the building. In that case, you would need to use alternative parking options in town, most of which require a fee.

“Villa Stranddistel Binz” offers vacation apartments with ocean views on Rügen. All vacation apartments are accessible by elevator, and the building entrance is wheelchair-accessible. “Just a few meters on foot” and you’re standing in the cool waters of the blue Baltic Sea. Along the white sandy beach, you’ll see the Binz pier—which juts far out into the Baltic Sea (370 meters long). The pier is considered an extension of the seaside resort’s main street. Restaurants and cafés exude that pure vacation vibe—the famous “Binz flair.” Boutiques and exhibitions (including the Walentowski Gallery, a must-see) round out the exclusive offerings. A little tip from Paradies: You’ll find the best coffee on Hauptstraße at Peters Bakery (Paradies’ recommendation).

When you step out of your vacation rental, you’ll be right on the Binz beach promenade. The seaside resort’s promenade invites you to linger. Experience Binz’s summer atmosphere to the fullest. Walking along the promenade, you’ll reach Prora, 1.5 km away. There, history buffs and visitors will find plenty of interesting facts. The KdF Bad (Kraft durch Freude), built by the Nazis in the 1930s, is now one of the island’s top attractions. After the fall of the Third Reich, the NVA used the building as barracks. You should definitely see this building, which is now used as a museum, among other things—it’s considered the longest building in Europe and, according to the latest plans, will soon offer vacation apartments as well.

Directly in the opposite direction from our vacation apartments at Villa Stranddistel lies one of northern Germany’s most beautiful nature reserves—the South-East Rügen Biosphere Reserve. It’s a wonderful place to relax. Along the Baltic Sea, you can go for a hike through the Granitz Forest or explore the countryside by mountain bike (bike parking is available at the vacation apartments). In the heart of the Granitz beech forest, you’ll find the “Granitz Hunting Lodge,” which you absolutely must visit on your exploration tour. Here, you can climb the castle tower, from the top of which you can see almost the entire island. Of course, the ride on the “Rasender Roland” train—which runs from Binz through Granitz to Sellin—is especially beautiful. For fishing enthusiasts planning to visit Binz in the spring, it’s worth noting that the “Villa Stranddistel Binz” is located at one of the top spots for sea trout fishing in Germany. It’s just a 20-minute walk, and you can try your hand at catching the silver fish of the Baltic Sea from the shore.
