Large apartment-style twin room with kitchen/dining area separate from the bedroom. Basic fittings but very clean. Included a fridge, kettle and quiet hairdryer. Short and pleasant walk through the Alt-Stadt (old town) from the railway station. As the pension is on the river bank (Ufer) and very close to a bridge, it was easy to walk back and forth to Poland to get the best of both worlds!
A tap in the kitchen area would have been useful. It wasn't easy filling up the kettle in the bathroom (no room to get the kettle under the tap). The mattresses were a bit hard.

Friendly and helpful host. He did offer us a groundfloor room so we didn't have to carry our luggage upstairs.
The pension is very close to the waterfront and footbridge to Poland.
We found the beds a bit low and we found a 3Euro charge for WiFi access a bit high considering that modt establishment provide it for free these days.

We looked room when we left for dinner but found it open when we returned. This was very scary.
