We all loved our VRBO in Gruene! The unit is located right around the corner from the elevator, which was helpful as one of our friends doesn’t do stairs well. Accommodations were immaculate! Kitchen was well stocked, and the ice maker made plenty for us (once we turned it on). Balcony was spacious for all of us and the view of the river and sunset was amazing. Beds were comfortable, A/C was pleasantly cold, ceiling fans in every room. The complex is located back off the main road, and was very quiet during our visit. It’s less than a mile to Gruene Hall and the shops. This was such a delightful place to spend our weekend, and we will definitely stay here again!

We were 3 ladies on a quick overnight Girls’ Trip to Gruene for shopping, food and fun. The condo was just as we had expected…clean and comfortable. Working with the hosts was a breeze! They were delightful! We loved the location and view. We’ll definitely be back!

We loved River Haus! The place is adorable, comfortable and in a great location. We walked to dinner and shopping and a had quick drive to Rockin R to rent tubes and drop into the river. We loved sitting on the balcony drinking coffee while listening to the rapids and watching birds and wildlife. A bonus was the stereo with a variety of albums to listen to!

This was a lovely, comfortable place to stay for our vacation in Gruene. It has a private path that leads down to the river and is steps from the dancehall and all the great places to hang out in Gruene. The 3 bedrooms are very comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed (we really appreciated the great spice rack!). The washer / dryer was a nice add for us. The only improvement I would suggest is blackout curtains for the master bedroom, but it certainly didn’t diminish our enjoyment. Lots of character and charm to the place, we enjoyed the record player and the spacious balcony. Highly recommend!

Great place for the weekend. Plenty of room and nice outside balcony to relax on. Walking distance to Gruene hall and surrounding shops. Owners were easy to communicate with and provided easy details to access unit. We had a great time and will do it again.

It wasn’t the biggest it wasn’t the shiniest, but it was fantastic perfect location great communication from the owners literally walking distance to everything in town. Such a wonderful getaway to the sweet town of Gruene. The condo was right in the middle of the action but off the beaten path, so it was quiet and relaxing. Loved the decor and set up-my musician husband especially enjoyed the guitar on the wall for guests who could play. Great porch with rocking chairs with a view of the river-saw deer and birds chirping in the trees. The hosts were very responsive, and we had a little plumbing issue, and it was handled on a Sunday immediately. We stay at a lot of rentals thru VRBO and Air B N B and this is now in our top 5. Will definitely be back!

Property is perfect for our stay and close to all the important fun things in Gruene. Great spacious unit with balcony views of river. Had fun at Gruenehall! One drawback, a property above us (we were in 204) had crazy loud kids from some prom or quincinera, starting around 1 am. Jumping off furniture, yelling, partying for a couple hours. I was too tired to call and complain.

Let me start by saying, Super Star Host! Heidi was the absolute best. She was helpful and responded to all my questions so quickly. Now about this adorable little house. We absolutely loved this property. Every detail from the comfortable beds, to the Records and record player, the charging station in the kitchen and the adorable guitar shaped wooden spoon in the kitchen! I loved every bit of it and it was all just so thoughtful. We’ll definitely be staying here again!
