The recent heartbreaking July 4th floods in Kerr county have not impacted our part of the Guadalupe River in the New Braunfels/Gruene Area. The tragic flooding occurred-on the other (north)side of-the lake. The water that entered Canyon Lake from Kerr County remained in Canyon Lake because it was only 48% full as a result the of a draught.. Water was not released into our side of the river.
