"El Caballo" is the perfect location for your relaxing Hill Country getaway. The Unit boasts a fully equipped kitchen for dine-in relaxation and sleeps 8 adults: 1 king, 2 queens, and 2 twin beds can comfortably accomodate up to 8 adults. Pack light as there's a washer/dryer in the unit for your convenience. It comes equipped with 2 flat screen TVs, Located on the top floor, and an end unit, you enjoy more peace and quiet than other locations. The sunset views from the rear patio are spectacular!
This condo is located in the heart of Historic Gruene, walking distance from the concerts of Gruene Hall and all the great restaurants, events, and shopping in Gruene. With a paved walkway down to the Guadalupe River, you have easy access to toobing, or utilize the riverside grills to prepare a casual meal. If the river isn't your thing, you can cool off in the pool located in the complex. El Caballo is also an easy 10 minute drive to downtown New Braunfels and festivals like Wurstfest.

The location of this property is perfect. You can walk everywhere. You can even walk right down into the water and sit in your float and watch everyone go by! The condo is very clean and was stocked with everything necessary. The owners were very accommodating and answered questions quickly! Will stay here again!!

Property managers are excellent! Great communication. The condo is spotless. They have thought of everything including coffee, creamer and a fresh bag of ice in freezer. Beds and linens are top notch. We will definitely stay here again . It’s so close to everything. We have stayed at this location several times in different units. We had a fantastic time staying at this property! The location couldn’t have been better – everything we needed was just steps away. The restaurants, shops, Gruene Groove, and Goodwin’s speakeasy were within easy walking distance, making our trip super convenient. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in, which made the whole process seamless. If you're looking for a great spot that combines comfort and an unbeatable location, this is the place. We will definitely be staying here again!

We went for a concert at Gruene Hall. This property was so close we could walk. Very clean and spacious. It is on the top floor and a corner unit so you have great privacy on the back balcony. It is super quiet and the bed slept wonderfully. We would not hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend.

Loved the location in downtown Gruene. Could walk everywhere!! Place was very clean and beds comfy. Great views from deck. Owners great and quick to respond. This is my second time staying at this condo. Two years in a row my girl friends and I have had a girl's float trip and have stayed at this condo and its been perfect! The condo is located right in the middle of Gruene with easy walking distances to plenty of shops, restaurants and the river! The condo was just as described and had everything that we needed. The shared condo pool was a very nice added bonus and was never over crowded. We will definitely be back again!

You can see above the trees all the way to NB. Alice had great communication and was easy to work with. We had a great family weekend.

The property was so clean, very spacious and the absolute best location for us to walk over to the Grove to hear my brother perform! However, with the high temps, this air conditioner does not keep up, but the owners were kind to bring over fans. (It took one full day to get our temp down to a comfortable temp) Overall, this property is awesome in location, super clean but we don’t recommend staying here in the summer months due to the air conditioning issues…

We loved the location and being able to walk to one of our favorite areas - Gruene Hall, Gristmill, etc. So much fun! Plus, Rockin’ R tube rental is a short few minutes car ride. The property was very clean and perfect for larger groups (we had 6). Attention to detail was much appreciated from the coffee beans and grinder to plenty of towels and stocked kitchen. Alice was very responsive to all communication and made it an ease to check in, etc. We did stay in July, when afternoon temps were in the low 100’s. This unit is on the 3rd floor with a beautiful west-facing view and nice patio but it also made for a very hot afternoon sun that beat down on the west side. The A/C really struggled to keep the unit cold, especially on the west side, where the M. Bedroom is located. Ceiling fans and additional supplied fans are there to “help” but it’s the warm air that’s being pushed around that made for uncomfortable nights. Other bedrooms, on the east side, stayed fairly cool. The patio was perfect in the morning for coffee and conversation . Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
