The lake is 400+ acres but has a sparsely populated shoreline which helps keep the lake traffic at a comfortable level
Take advantage of the large level lot on the lakeside of the cabin. Perfect for yard games and sitting by the fire at dusk.
For those who like fishing, we have Walleyes, Northerns, Crappies, Sunnys and Bass galore in this medium sized lake. There are also Muskies prowling around these waters but they're more difficult to catch.
Ducks, geese are daily visitors and occasionally a bald eagle will also do a "fly by". This lake is home to many nesting Loons. There is nothing like the call of a Loon to make you feel like you're in the wilderness.
A little country store is only a couple miles away in case you forget some basic necessities. It also has live bait and a liquor store attached.
Alexandria is only 10 minutes away. It has big city amenities with a small town feel. You can find grocery, hardware, and sporting goods stores. Also rental and repair shops for boats, bikes, water toys and autos. Plenty of restaurants and bars make the nightlife is inviting. The boutiques, antique shops and specialty stores make this town a shopper paradise.
With many parks, bike trails, and even an amusement park, you can always find something to do in town.
Excellent wineries are only a short drive away and a couple micro-brew houses are right in Alex.
Andes Tower Hills is a only a 10 minute drive for skiing, snowboarding and tubing for some winter time fun.

Hands down, the best travel experience I have had to date! I used to spend summers at this lake at a resort, in a cabin. I was sad when that was sold off as private lots. I stumbled upon this and took a chance and it blew me away! The ease of working with the hosts and the cleanliness were both top notch, but the service…. Exceptional. We had two 12 year old boys and this is a trip they will never forget. The fishing was amazing and when I say we caught at least 100 fish, I’m being conservative. We tubed, we skied, we swam, we fished! It was exactly how lake life should be. Chuck, our host was tremendous and even took the boys sun fish fishing one day and twilight bass fishing another. The house had too much room for the 4 of us, and all the amenities of home. Close to Alexandria and a little general store if you needed something, but honestly, besides our groceries, they had everything you could want. Allowed the boys to use kayaks and a paddleboat and had tubes and skis as well. We brought our own boat, but they also have a pontoon boat you can rent. Location was perfect with a dock right out in front of the house on the shoreline. If you like to catch bass, blue gill, sunfish and northern, this is the lake you should go to. The views of the sunrise and sunset were incredible! Could not have been more impressed and we are already talking about our next trip there. Absolutely the most relaxing, fun, amazing rental experience we have had!

Our entire family had a wonderful time! The fishing was excellent, along with a very clean and comfortable lake house. Would highly recommend and we cannot wait to return!

House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus.
Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake.
Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did.
