Villa Eleana

We loved our room with a balcony! The pool area was lovely, and they provided pool towels. We were also able to do laundry. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

A fost frumoasa locatia, piscina curata, sezlonguri, verdeata si copaci in jurul casei.

Curatenia si room service, nu s-au schimbat asternuturile de pat( doar dupa ce am insistat) nu a schimbat prosoapele,( au fost aduse 3 prosoape pentru 8 persoane), nu luau gunoiul, d- na ce facea curatenie venea doar in orele in care ne intorceam de la plaja si incercam sa ne odihnim, fara sa revina sa-si faca treaba ulterior(atunci cand noi eram plecati din locatie)

Really nice clean rooms, excellent staff, nice quiet area

This is a very clean place, used mainly by Greeks and families. It is a quiet town, it does not feel touristy. Mostly locals, but very tourist friendly, prices are displayed and are cheap. Tourists mainly in Ireven's Tavern, people travel in to go there. Locals are kind and helpful. There are 2 beaches here (5mn and 10mn drive) with free deck chairs, parking and showers, plus cheap refreshment vans and lifeguards to 7pm. The other "main" beaches do not do this. They are local, family beaches. People are not drinking/partying. You can walk onto these beaches any time of day even 5am. All parking in this area is open/free. Views from the pool are amazing day and night. Parking on site. It is not crowed. The drive to Chania town is all coast-line as shown in pictures. Irene's Tavern is family-run and 5mn drive, (8-12EUR per main). It gets busy at meal times and is a quiet place to spend the night. They close when guests finish (11pm-2pm). There is a pharmacy, petrol station, 2 supermarkets, local coffee/pastry shops. 15min to Airport. Manager the same every day, it is family owned and their child is around most days. They speak English. It is very safe, and the right amount of seclusion. It is more family, not party, but also the pool isn't packed. Reception closes at 4pm. Drinks, snacks, water available. 3EUR Coffee/coke. 2EUR 2L water bottle. Lots of books to read. Communal indoor small seating area and breakfast bar/stools. The air con and the fridge were very powerful. Good water pressure. Extra bedding in the cupboard, and pillows on request. Fast Wifi. The pool and studio were very clean with an amazing view. Daily housekeeping. Lots of plug sockets. The cupboards have cooking utensils and pots/pans. Microwave & electric hobs. Coffee filter pot. Hangars in cupboards. Iron, board, hairdryer. Clothes drying rack. Balcony, chairs, ashtray. English speaking staff.

The lights are a little bright so an evening lamp would be ideal. Coffee warmer a little weak but can use hobs/pans provided). Be prepared, naturally you can hear a lot of wildlife buzzing if you are outside; but if you stay in the city, you will hear instead people and cars up late. Inside the studio it was not so loud.
