Disappointing

Staff were nice.

Room smelt of smoke when supposed to be non smoking. Shared shower was not clean. Cupboard door in room was about to fall off. A lot of road noise. Door jammed on floor when trying to open. Not great overall. Not even a sink in the room.

Good for a budget overnight in the middle of the Bellinzona, Lugano, Locarno triangle.

Perfect as a budget accomodation (by Swiss standards) for one night as I was not able to return home on the same day. The shared bathroom was large and clean, just like the shower, with hard walls. I didn't have time to take meals, but that would have been possible.

- There was no bedside lamp (see picture) - They should replace the plastic cover of the WC and the light bulb above the mirror

The staff was really friendly and fulfilled every wish! Everything was really clean and the connection to Lugano or Bellinzona with public transport are quick and easy to find. The food (dinner a la carte) is great as well. Although there's a shared bathroom, the shower is within the room and gives you a little more privacy.

Unfortunately, the staff spoke only Italian so we had to communicate with hands and feet and part of my bad Spanish or Google translate. Also, nobody was really wearing the mask inside the building although this was still mandatory. The breakfast consists of some ciabatta bread, jam, orange juice, and coffee. So no option for people who prefer salty breakfasts.
