Excellent Location near the Altstadt

Location. Easy walk to train station and Altstadt.This host has several apartment buildings each furnished with simple but elegant, sturdy, vintage furniture. Large apartment, Well stocked, roomy eat-in kitchen. Updated bath has a washing machine. Bonus is a small bedroom or storage room off the kitchen, not mentioned in the listing perhaps because it does not have a window.

No elevator in this building, and the steps are steep. The two apartments on the back side of this building experience loud music, and late, from the restaurant below. Nevertheless, we like the apartments here and plan to book again!

Like everywhere it seems in Germany nowadays, there were no facecloths. I grew up believing Germany was the birthplace of the facecloth!! haha Please add a user manual for the induction stove - sounds crazy but many North Americans do not have much experience with them.

Large, comfortable apartment with excellent river views. Fantastic location.

Amazing location. Apartment was enormous for two people, with a very well stocked kitchen. Our apartment had fabulous views over the river. Our friends did not have such an excellent view.

The instructions for car parking said to try "Possehistrasse" for free parking. A bit more explanation that this is simply a long stretch of road along the island next to town rather than a destination point would have been helpful for clueless newcomers!

Loved the apartment and location, such a great place to stay!

Location was fantastic for staying in Lubeck. The facilities were all good. Lots of room to relax! Close to everything.

Carrying suitcases up 4 floors of winding stairs. Did realise we would be on the top floor and there were no lifts. You would need to be in good health to stay here. Having an adapter for international visitors would be helpful.

Great old timey charm in a great location

Furnished in a lovely way and feels very old time, located on the canal and very east to walk from and to everywhere in the town. beds were greater and everything was clean and tidy

the entrance to the building in through a restaurant and that can be noisy until 23 or so (it didn't bother us but just mind that) also the entrance always smelled like frying oil and cigarettes, but that's really not a big deal compare to everything else

overall good stay but watch out for the bar downstairs

it s well equipped, you can find everything you would need in the apartment, everything is well thought through. Location overall is very good, straight on the river bank.

one big minus is that the Partnern is located above the bar, so the entrance to the building is through that bar, which results is a lot of noice in the evening the music is very load ( Fri, Saturday ), the staircase is used for storage and garbage bins of the bar, so on the staircase the smell is very bad, so it’s very unpleasant to walk to the appartement

Great value for money

The location is great. Good for walks to the city center. It had everything we needed like plates and microwave. The bathroom had soap and shower gel. Also clean towels. There are some books and crayons which was great to keep our son occupied. Quiet place.

It's difficult to find a parking spot. Most of them are for the residents. But there is a big parking lot nearby that is also free from 18pm to 10am. It had a view of a dirty rooftop,but we didn't mind since we weren't in the room most of the time

Great and priceworthy accomodation at a perfect location in the old town!

Perfect location! In the old city very close to the old citygate Al Holstentor and there is also a lots of restaurants and cafés down the street. The apartment was big and had everything we needed. The staff running the apartment was also friendly and very service minded. I can highly recommend this place and also the restaurant Fangfrisch which are runned by the same persons. The best food we had in Lübeck!

Very comfortable, stylish and well equipped with amenities - in particular, everything needed for basic cooking is supplied in the apartment. Beautiful view of the river. Clean and centrally located. Uncomplicated check-in and check-out. Useful information about the city (brochures, panflets) can also be found in the apartment.

Only worth your consideration if you are three or four

The location is fantastic so close to everything in the old center. The apartment was quite spacious and the Wi-Fi free and reliable.

The apartment smelled quite strongly of smoke. It is also located two or three flights of steep stairs without an elevator. On Friday and Saturday there is very loud music from the restaurant but even more troubling was a low constant throbbing from the restaurant ventilators. Like a refrigerator might sound, except much stronger and on all the time. The beds were very hard and the pillows impossible to get support from.

I recommend this apartment, specially for a family.

The location is superb, right in the center and close to the boats and to the train station. Also the apartment is really good, containing everything that one needs.

The bar on the basement is a bit noisy, but at least for the moment that didn't work until very late.

Lovely apartment close to Holstentor

Fully equipped apartment with kitchen and wash maschine. It has everything you need, even coffee, tea, salt, sugar etc so you don't have to buy everything from the store if you want to cook.

We got an apartment on top floor (=the attic) so it had no view.
