Smells of food and smoking from be restaurant coming up the stairs and into the apartment.

The apartment was in a great location. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had what you needed to prepare small meals. Thankfully they provided a fan for the bedroom as it was very hot on the 4th floor.

It is on the 4th floor and you must carry your bags up. In the summer months it is very hot. The shower room felt like it had heated floors! The fan was necessary for the bedroom!

The property is in the downtown, everything is within walking distance. It has a special vibe because of the wooden furniture, that we really liked! The hosts provided city map and a guide book with suggestions what to visit, where to eat, etc. The kitchen is well equipped, but could be better with paper towels, and additional garbage bins to collect plastic/paper/metal separately. (Or at least additional plastic bags) Additional great thing was the washing machine with detergent! It saves families with small children!

- You can access the property on stairs and there's no dedicated place where you can leave the stroller - The windows are going to the Lichthof, don't expect a view - The personel of the bar downstairs are smoking at the entrace, and the smoke and smell comes up to the staircase and even to the apartman :( - There's no dedicated parking slot, so you should be lucky to find one nearby and then bring all your luggage here - not really practical for families with small children

This was a wonderful option for our two weeks in Lübeck. It had everything needed - washing machine, oven, microwave and cooktop as well as enough plates, cutlery and cookware for all your needs. Not only that but such a good location. Being able to look out the window to see the Trave and the Holstentor - everything that makes Lübeck such a great destination right outside the window. Staff were very helpful and the couple of times I needed to contact them as I was having some problems with appliances (my error both times!), they responded very promptly. The bar downstairs is very popular and very nice option to pop downstairs for a drink or meal. There are people there late at night enjoying the long evenings- the weather was cool enough for us to be able to shut the windows and could not hear any noise but you might get some noise in summer if you left windows open.
