Excellent communication from our host Constantin. We were emailed regularly with updates of next steps, and key instructions a couple of days beforehand. The apartment is in a very old building between two shops on a very pretty cobbled street with lovely bars, shops and places to eat. Our apartment (Therese) was on the top floor up a beautiful set of stripped pine stairs. The apartment was small but very charming, with a small but modern very well - equipped kitchen, and some teabags/coffee/sugar. (If you're from the UK and like tea, take your own! ) The living room had some lovely antique furniture and a comfy sofa, lamp, radio, TV, and a few books, and lovely old pictures on the walls. The shower room was modern, with a lovely large shower and had liquid soap and shower gel/shampoo. There's even a little washing machine tucked under the stairs with a hairdryer for your convenience. The very steep stairs (more like a ladder with nice big steps) led up to a lovely, very simply decorated and furnished bedroom with a large comfy bed, table either side with a large lamps, and exposed beams. There is a nice shelving unit with hanging space above. The windows open out onto the courtyard below.
So many lovely places to eat and drink, with a couple of nice bars directly opposite, where you can sit and relax outside with a beer or cocktail.
Whilst everywhere is easily walked, public transport is excellent - walk up to the market square and there are buses every few minutes to the bus station and train station next door.
If you like museums there are plenty to choose from and you can get a pass for 12 Euros to use in them.
Boat trips along the river are also plentiful.
I wouldn't say didn't like, but things to be aware of! The bed was very low and we both struggled to get up from it! It was otherwise comfortable but with only one pillow each.
The stairs to the bedroom are also very steep. Come backwards down those!
The TV wasn't tuned and there were no instructions, but we didn't miss it. I let housekeeping know.
We would stay again, it was just lovely!

It was in a wonderful location and a really quirky apartment. There were a lot more additional add ons/ amenities than we were expecting. Loved our stay
The stairs were a like steep If you have little children but all doable and not difficult. You just have to watch them.

Excellent location, right in the heart of the old town and close to attractions, shops, supermarket, restaurants and buses. Reasonably priced.
Comfortable and cosy apartment with a private deck and access to the small garden. Lovely for afternoon drinks in the sun.
Washing machine, clothes horse and washing powder. Ground coffee and condiments in the kitchen cupboard.
Helpful manager who assisted us with our public transport enquiries.
All of the above were greatly appreciated by us.
The bed was rather hard.
The curtains in the bedroom were translucent; thicker curtains would have blocked the early morning daylight. We weren’t sure how to switch on the heating. We imagine other Australians might have the same problem, as this kind of heating is uncommon in Australia.
But overall we had a wonderful stay and would gladly stay here again.

Nice and cozy
The third bed (additional bed) was rather uncomfortable

Everything was perfect. We rented two apartments, Ida and Theresa. They were both lovely. Everything was clean and tidy, and Ida (the only one where we made breakfast) had a toaster and enough dishes, as well as a kettle and coffee maker. The location cannot be beat.
Nothing. It was great.

The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean, and comfortable. An excellent location for sight-seeing, right in the centre of the Altstadt, a few minutes walk from the Rathaus and the Marienkirche. Somebody was waiting to meet us with the keys after a telephone call to let them know what time, even though it was nearly ten o'clock in the evening, and they helped carry the luggage upstairs.
The microwave was ideally suited for very tall people, but not so convenient for others. It is 37 steps up to reach the apartment we stayed in (Friederike), which seems like a lot at the end of a long journey.

The apartment is in a very good location. Everything was nicely prepared except one thing: the heating.
It was extremely cold in the apartment, especially upstairs. We had to sleep in our sweaters and use the extra heater. I don't recommend it for a stay during winter months. Also for those who stay with kids you need to think, that is the last floor and there are a lot of stairs.

It is an old apartment. So all except for some white goods are old. We booked the room for 2kids+2 adults. The room had 2 single beds and one couch which is not to sleep on/not openable. Thus we did not have that confortable night.

Hard to tell from photos which apartment you are getting

The apartment is lovely. Perfectly situated for exploring the town of Lübeck. We got mixed up with the correct address and appreciate that you waited for us to find it ... that took us longer than expected!

Perfect location in the centre of old historical town. Cozy apartment, clean bed linen and towels, well equiped kitchen. Nice view to courtyard, quiet location.
The place is convenient for 2-3 people, the 2nd bed in living room is not comfortable (not flat). Rooms look very different than on pictures, the flat Apartment Therese is very small and furniture rather outdated.

Perfect location, very Clean and easy to access with the key lock as we arrived super late. Apartment was quiet but you hear the noise from the street as it is normal in the middle of town.
Beds were quite hard (for our taste) but totally fine for a short stay. Quite expensive for an apartment compared to a hotel with service and breakfast but it was super nice and it was High Season as well.

We liked everything. The apartment is situated a few steps from the Rathaus. Тhe church bell sings every 15 minutes and is heard very well from the apartment. It helps you immerse in the great atmosphere of the city. In Ida apartment we had a terrace with a private entrance to the inner yard. It was very comfortable for us because we were with our dog who was happy to go freely in and out. The apartment is tastefully furnished and very well equipped with black and white appliances. The host was very kind and welcoming. He sent us information about the places of interest and the good restaurants in the surrounding area. We called him 30 min. before our arrival and a boy was waiting to give us the keys. Communication was easy and very well organized.
We liked everything.

Location
very soft mattresses, unreliable wifi connection, bad smell in the bathroom

The backyard, the furniture, the spaciousness and the warm welcoming owner is, in my opinion, the best things you could have asked for in this historical town.
There are appliances to help with meals and laundry.
the bed is comfy alright next to it is the lovely yard where one could have a cuppa tea and enjoy the day.
it was winter during my visit, pleased to see 3 working radiator in the room.
Location of the unit ia perfect in the heart of the town! 3mins walk from the alighting busstop.
There was some problem radiator one night and i called the owner at late hours. the owner addressed and fixed the issue promptly and still presented utmost hospitality. kudos to him.
book this room again next time!
Thank you for the stay.
Regards.
nah its perfect

Lovely wee central apartment

The kitchen was perfect, I can make the dinner and the breakfast myself. The furniture in the apartment is very cool and the space is very big. The bathroom with the bathtub is great!
The apartment is not on the sunny side, so it was cold in the morning.

The apartment is in a real historical building and has a fantastic position

Tolle Lage, sehr nette Kommunikation.

Herzige Wohnung an super Lage
