Lovely view from the balcony, very cute apartment!

Acogedora casa a 10 minutos en coche de Varenna, amplia y con unas vistas de postal. Estaba muy limpia y dispones de todo lo que puedas necesitar para hospedarte, el ambiente muy tranquilo en Perledo ideal para desconectar. Es importante disponer de coche, tienes un parking gratuito justo enfrente. Mónica fue una anfitriona excelente!! Atenta a lo que necesitáramos y a explicarnos lo que quisiéramos saber del lugar. Lo recomendamos sin dudar.

L’appartement est très agréable, avec une vue sublime depuis le balcon. Tout était parfaitement propre et la cuisine bien équipée. Monica est une hôte accueillante et à l’écoute, qui nous a donné de bons conseils. Nous avons également fait appel à ses services de taxi pour nous rendre à Varenna, ce qui a été très pratique.

Le wifi fonctionnait mal, mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment dérangés durant le séjour.

• Great view of the lake (this applies not only to these apartments but to the whole town of Perledo). • Presence of a balcony. • The apartment is generally in good condition.

• Very poor Wi-Fi (messaging apps work okay, but working remotely would be difficult — the speed is 8 Mbps and it often cuts out completely). • Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is by 9:00 AM — this is the first time I’ve seen such a schedule on Booking.com. At other hotels around Lake Como where we’ve stayed, check-in was from 3:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. • We tried to check in an hour earlier (at 3:00 PM), but the host Monica deliberately closed the door in front of us — the apartment was ready and unoccupied — and said check-in is strictly at 4:00 PM. She quickly left for a job (as I understand it, she works as a taxi driver and leaves several times a day). I had a heavy bag and asked if I could at least leave it inside the locked apartment, but she refused and suggested I leave it in an unsecured area. I had to wait in a bar five minutes away until check-in time. Later, she explained this attitude by saying I didn’t respond to her Booking.com message offering early check-in for an extra €15. I didn’t respond because I was traveling. This kind of treatment was very disappointing, especially after a long journey. • No toothbrushes or toothpaste provided for guests — though this was the case at all the hotels we stayed at on Lake Como. So bring your own in advance. • No bottled water provided, only tap water available. • Not very convenient to get there without your own car — but that applies to most hotels around the lake unless you’re staying right on the shore.
