nice looking hotel but too many things wrong

this is a modern hotel, with nice clean rooms and two great patios with wonderful view. easy spacious parking.

there was no hot water at any point in our stay. we left the shower on for 20 minutes and was later told it would take at least 30 minutes! 4 cages of fighting cockerels were placed outside our room, (see photo) which was fine until the sun rose, when of course we were woken. not sure if they are always there or if a guest took over the garden area to house the cockerels before a fight. As we were arriving late we rang to find out if anywhere in Bernal would be open for food. we were told that it was unlikely and we should stop on our way. as it happens there are many nice restaurants open until 1am within 2 mins walking of the hotel- how did the staff not know this? maybe we could have seen them from our room, if the windows were not concrete (see photos)!! seriously, you could not make this up. it did at least give us a few anecdotes.

La ubicación es muy buena, cerca del centro caminando y por la noche no molesta para nada el ruido de los bares. Lo que me encantó fue su café y pan de cortesía por las mañanas.

El precio me pareció un poco elevado para lo que ofrece, básicamente es sólo alojamiento.

Encantador sitio en peña de Bernal

Bonito lugar, a tres calles del centro. Las instalaciones son muy nuevas y cómodas. Dan panecito y café de cortesía por las mañanas.

Si vienes en coche, no le hagas caso a Google maps, la unica entrada es por la calle Buenavista esquina las flores.

La atención de la persona que estuvo durante la noche (un señor mayor) en recepción, siempre está malas, baje a solicitarle algunas cosas como papel higiénico y cobijas extras por el frío, claro que sí las proporciono, Pero de muy mala gana, no sé si habría que pagar aparte por eso,igual que me diga Pero que no se enoje, ya que yo lo solicité de buena manera y sin faltarle al respeto, además subió a mi habitación a decirme que ya estaban abajo que bajara por ellas, pues las hubiera llevado de una vez, Pero en en fin nada grave, tal vez tenía un mal día, a todos nos pasa, la habitación muy padre y agradable, pero para mí gusto más amenidades como un sillón o más muebles para sentase estarían perfectos ya que cuenta con el espacio suficiente ... Fuera de eso todo es excelente.

El hotel no cumple con las expectativas para su categoría de precio

· Personal amable: Aunque sin mayor empatía o proactividad para solucionar inconvenientes, el trato fue correcto.

Mi estancia de dos noches en el Hotel La Cuesta Toscana fue, en general, decepcionante, especialmente considerando el precio pagado (más de $4000). Si bien el hotel aparenta ser nuevo, el descuido en los detalles es evidente y no justifica el costo. Lo negativo: · Instalaciones descuidadas: En el baño, la regadera causaba encharcamientos y el lavabo tenía fuga. Las ventanas están mal insonorizadas, lo que afecta el descanso. · Habitaciones poco funcionales: Las almohadas son demasiado planas e incómodas. En las habitaciones con vitrales superiores, la luz de la mañana entra de manera intensa y molesta. · Internet deficiente: La señal Wi-Fi en la habitación era muy mala, obligándome a bajar a recepción para trabajar, lo cual es inaceptable. · Ubicación engañosa: Aunque está cerca del centro, la subida para llegar es pesada, lo que más que una ventaja puede sentirse como una desventaja. · Políticas poco flexibles: Al avisar que celebraríamos un cumpleaños, nos informaron que solo poner pétalos de flores tenía un costo adicional de $700, sin mostrar ninguna cortesía o gesto. · Estacionamiento incómodo: Es pequeño y con un empedrado difícil para maniobrar. · Servicios básicos: Solo ofrecen café y té de cortesía, muy limitado para el precio.
