About this house rental
The Stanley home is a comfortable 2 bedroom family home nestled at the top of the hill at the end of a dead end road. The property includes a large back deck with patio set and grill for barbeque on summer nights. With an attached fenced in play yard for your pet and a large unfenced area out back for children to play, this is the perfect property for a family getaway.
You can choose to enjoy the quiet, nature filled back yard by the orchard or simply walk out the front door for ocean views. Just down the hill is a popular spot for photographers to capture the sunrise over the harbor. This home is a short 1/2 mile walk to restaurants and shopping in Southwest Harbor and provides easy access to hiking trails and Acadia National Park. In the summer and fall this rental is walking distance to weekly farmers markets and art vendors.

1. Both bedrooms are on the second floor. The bathroom is on the first floor.
2. There is a bar style table in the kitchen that seats four people elbow to elbow. There is a more traditional dining set up on the back deck.

Ashley’s house was perfect for our family! Our son and dog felt right at home as soon as we arrive. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the BBQ a nice addition. The location couldn’t have been any better — and the stars from the back deck were amazing! Ashley’s communication was great too, and check-in / check-out very smooth. We would definitely come back if we have a chance

We had an amazing stay here for our girl’s trip! The home is so cozy with the cutest backyard. In the span of 15 minutes, we saw a deer, fox, and a porcupine! It was close to Bar Harbor but far enough away that it felt more authentic and less touristy. A great jumping off point for hiking Acadia!

We had a lovely stay here for my birthday. The location was excellent and the place came equipped with everything we needed. We are always concerned about the kitchen having basics like oil, salt, Tupperware, grilling supplies, but we had everything we needed here. The rooms stayed nice and cool during the day and were pleasantly chilly overnight. The fenced in yard was a perfect set up for us and our elderly dog - we could grill out and leave him loose while doing so. We would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was perfect for the two of us and our dog. The view is amazing, the town quaint. We would 100% stay again
