Great apartment near Flensburg town centre!

The apartment is very spacious, clean and has a modern decor as well as all necessary appliances for a comfortable stay, and they all seem more or less brand new. We never used the TV or washer/dryer so I can't say much about those, what the TV service was like etc. We liked the high ceilings and wooden floors in the bedrooms and the living room. The block is fairly quiet with the most noise being heard Saturday evening during our stay, but on the other hand that was the last night of the Rum Regatta so residents and visitors moving in and out of the apartment block was to be expected. It is within easy reach of the town centre, a mere 10-15 minute walk, maybe a few minutes more coming back as it is uphill then. Parking in the surrounding area, on the street, was free and quite easy to find. The host is very easy to get in contact with and most helpful for all queries that you may have. I would definitely book again!

The hard stone floor in the kitchen gets very cold and as we used the kitchen seating area a lot, for both eating meals and playing cards/games and enjoying a drink or two, we eventually had to move the kitchen rug from it's place in front of the cooker and kitchen units to underneath the kitchen table instead. I think a rug should be placed under that table all the time actually. Not everyone thinks to pack thermal socks or slippers. The beds were quite comfortable but narrow, only 140 cm. In Scandinavia we are used to 180 cm width as standard, with 160 cm as a minimum for doublebeds. As a travelling company may be made up of friends and/or family members that are not necessarily a couple/married to each other twin beds or wider double beds would be preferable. As we brought our own bed linen it is also advisable to check with the host the size of beds, duvets and pillows, as we found the pillows in our bed to be far too big for our pillowcases. We managed to solve that problem with a couple of spare pillows we found in the wardrobe but it would have been good to know beforehand. Most of the pillows we use here in Sweden are 50 cm x 60 cm or 50 cm x 90 cm. This is just something to bear in mind, for both future guests and the hosts. Another suggestion would be to hang some sort of curtain or dark fabric on the inside of the front door as the frosted glass lets a lot of light through during the night, whenever someone enters or leaves the block and switches on the light in the stairwell.

Great location for people who are fit to walk (uphill/St Jürgens stairs) less than 10min to the centre and Förde. Good bus connections that go straight to out of town beaches. The flat feels very homely and safe.

It’s a raised ground floor flat and can get chilly, so bring slippers.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, zentral gelegen und gut beheizt. Die Vermieter machten einen sehr freundlichen Eindruck.

Die Matraze im Doppelbett war etwas zu weich, da der Partner jede Bewegung mitgemacht hat. Auch wäre es schön gewesen, wenn sich die Türen zum Wohnzimmer und Küche schließen ließen, damit nicht alle Geräusche die Langschläfer wecken.

Schöne Tage in Flensburg

- ZENTRUMSNAH - man sollte aber trotzdem gut zu Fuß sein ! - 2 separate Schlafzimmer ( z.B. für 2 Paare ) - Vermieter konnte nicht persönlich erscheinen, hat sich aber SUPER NETT per e-mail bzw. SMS gekümmert (z.B Standort des Schlüsselsafe / dass die Wohnung nach Reinigung schon früher zur. Verfügung stand/ Möglichkeit Fahrräder im Hinterhof abzustellen ) - nette Geste : 4 Begrüßung-Getränke mit Flensburger "PLOP" - bereitliegende Information zu Flensburg u. Umgebung - W-LAN vorhanden - 2x Schlüssel

- 2 Französische Doppelbetten (1,40 m breit ) , obwohl die Zimmer recht groß sind = wenn man zuhause ein 2mx2m-Bett hat, ist das zu Zweit schon recht eng :-( bin die erste Nacht beim Umdrehen aus dem Bett gefallen; Platz ist evtl für das/ die Kinderbetten ( optional ) nötig - ALTBAU -> sehr hellhörig !! - leider kein Geschirrspüler dafür eine Waschmaschine ?! ; da wir lediglich in der Wohnung gefrühstückt haben, war Geschirr u. Abtropfmöglichkeit ausreichend - SCHADE kein Parkplatz vorhanden , haben dann für 2 Autos trotzdem relativ gut Parkplätze in der Nähe gefunden ; für Gepäck u. Fahrräder ausladen haben wir vor der Tür im Haltverbot gestanden!

Geweldig genoten!

De woning was voorzien van alle faciliteiten. Er is zelfs een wasmachine met droger . De auto konden we probleemloos gratis in de straat parkeren. We hebben heerlijk rustig geslapen. Geen lawaai.De woning ligt dichtbij het centrum. Lopend ben je er in 10 minuten. Je kunt ook heerlijk wandelen in de parken rondom de stad waar ook overal speeltuintjes te vinden zijn. Eigenaren geven meteen antwoord op vragen via berichten Booking.com of WhatsApp.

Schöne Altbauwohnung in zentraler Lage

Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat super geklappt, die Wohnung ist total sauber und ordentlich und sie ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Wohnung liegt günstig zwischen Hafenspitze und Innenstadt, nach einem kurzen Spaziergang hat man beides schnell erreicht. Sie ist ein bisschen hellhörig, aber das ist bei Altbau eben so und hat uns nicht gestört.

Die Wohnung hat unsere Wünsche vollkommen entsprochen!

Zum Frühstück haben wir eine der vielen Möglichkeiten im Zentrum gewählt. Die Lage war perfekt für Fußwege. Ein Hinweis für Parkplatzraum wäre noch hilfreich gewesen, war aber am Ende in der Nähe gar kein Problem. Die Schlüsselübergabe war zunächst persönlich geplant, dann aber wegen Streiks der Bussverbindung nicht möglich und alternativ perfekt gelöst!

In der Küche wäre eine Spülmaschine schön gewesen, aber wir haben sie nicht sehr vermisst.

Tæt på centrum, i gå afstand ca 5 min. Bilen kan holde ved lejligheden, og der er dejligt i lejligheden med alt hvad man kan ønske sig. Lukas er altid til at skrive til el ringe, så får man svar på sine spørgsmål.

Sehr schnelle, nette und zielorientierter Schriftverkehr. Sehr entgegenkommend und konnten später abreisen als vertraglich vereinbart. Nett war auch das Begrüßungsgeschenke mit Flensburger Wasser. Kommen gerne wieder.

Auch wenn wir es wussten, das einzigste verbesserungswürdige wäre, wenn die Betten etwas breiter wären, da der Platz ja insgesamt in beiden Räumen vorhanden ist. Der WLAN Code könnte vielleicht etwas Anwender freundlich(kürzer) gestaltet werden :-).
