From when we arrived - until we left - we felt so so super G O O D!!!!!

ALL of IT!!!! We met Lars at the main door to their house, and went inside. Since we already stayed at this wonderful place in the SUMMER - it all went just as smooth...... We love the house/the courtyard, the flat where we already stayed - and the hosts are phenomenal!!!!! We shall be back....

Absolutely nothing! We only had trouble on the way from Hamburg to Flensburg (NO train-connection)! Nothing to do with the house or the hosts - they are fantastic!!!

Wonderfully well taken care of place to stay in a charming town. Family friendly. Cats available.

Very cosy, with lots of home comforts, tea & coffee facilities. The hosts have 2 cats, they host was very friendly and clearly does a lot to make the place very sweet such as flowers and sweets, a guest book, lots of outside cushions, nice shampoos, decorations and such on furniture and windowsills. Lots of utensils. There were board games available in the common area which the kids loved almost as much as the cat(s). There are cats painted on walls all around Flensburg whoch the kids enjoyed finding so this added to the charm having a cat greet us when we arrived home (never inside our apartment, nearly always waiting in the entrance courtyard). He was never a nuisance.

The sofa bed blocks any seating other than the dining table and is a bit close to the master double bed. It is a layout problem. The room/apartment is large and spacious, well furnished but I don't have a solution for making that part of the big open space more usable when the sofa is made into a bed. It would be very luxurious for a couple without the need to remake sofas each morning or not be able to use other furniture. The bathroom is also large but we were missing a shower curtain for privacy whilst 4 were sharing. There's a glass screen and no door to the shower. Which looks very smart but is a little less practical if someone needs to the toilet or sink. Also as it gets a bit wet from the shower. Perhaps because the shower was a nice amount of powerful, the drainage and lack of extraction led to a bit of a steamy bathroom. We also would have liked a microwave but the kitchen is pretty well fasciliated & large for the size of the room, everything works and in near new condition. Particularly good for self catering.

Everything that you wished for was in the kitchens..... Tea Coffee. sugars, you name it. The flats had all the facilities as home or even better, incl. the outdoor courtyard. FAB!

Perfect Place to Spend My Birthday!

-Tanja and Lars were exceptional hosts. Pleasant and communicative, they exceeded our expectations. -We were allowed to check in early and had a safe place to store our bicycles in the courtyard. - The apartment was located only minutes from the main shopping street and the harbor. -Fresh flowers in every room. -High-quality bedding. - Welcome treats like bottled water, delicious homemade jam (the best I‘ve ever had), and the cutest little handmade soap. - Nice outdoor seating areas for when the weather was nice. - Really nice wood flooring and stairs in the apartment. Everything was lovingly restored in this old building. Beautiful and charming. -One of the guests sang me a lovely operatic German version of „happy birthday“ upon our departure. It made my whole trip.

Centrally located yet very silent. Clean rooms, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, bio-shampoo and bio-bodylotion available, flowers on the table and a good welcome by the owner.

We had an amazing stay at das gelbe haus. All three apartments are beautiful, well equipped and created a perfect base for our stay in Flensburg. The many details, (fresh flowers, the beautiful courtyard and the great design choices in the apartments) made us feel very welcome. The history of the house made our stay even more unique and wonderfull. Tanja and Lars were great hosts and all communication went smoothly. We are definitely comming back to enjoy the varm summer evenings in the courtyard :)

Det hyggeligste lille hus med en fantastisk beliggenhed i forhold til gågaden. En vild stenvæg i soveværelset. Eneste minus er mangel på en læselampe af en slags i stuen.

Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft

Wir waren begeistert, da neben dem freundlichen Empfang ein wahres Kleinod auf einen wartet. Ein mit Geschmack und Augenmaß renoviertes Denkmal, ein Hof, wie man den in Italien erwarten würde, eine Ferienwohnung die bei der Ausstattung keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man kann die Bilder auf sich wirken lassen und vor Ort ist es noch schöner. Die Lage nahe der Innenstadt ist ideal und gleichzeitig ist es ruhig. Wir haben jeden Tag prima geschlafen und sind entspannt in den Tag gestartet. Ich kann den Aufenthalt dort jedem wärmstens empfehlen. Man merkt auch, dass die Gastgeber mit Verstand und Herz bei der Sache sind und es sind die vielen Kleinigkeiten (kleine Blumenbouquets, frischer Kaffee, Essig/Öl, Gewürze, Spiele, kostenlose Waschmaschine, Tipps uvm.) heben die Unterkunft ab. Wir prüfen gerade wann wir wiederkommen.

Kein negativer Punkt, sondern lediglich ein Hinweis für den Alkoven im Felsenhäuschen: Die zwei Schlafplätze sind über eine Leiter zu erreichen, so dass man mit Kleinkindern überlegen sollte, ob die da oben schlafen sollen. Spannbare Netze schützen vor dem herunterfallen.

So muss sich Urlaub anfühlen!

Ganz liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, super liebe Gastgeber. Alles ist um die Ecke, ob der Bäcker, Restaurants oder der Hafen wo für jeden was dabei ist. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, Milchaufschäumer, Handrührgerät und Stabmixer sind vorhanden. Wer sich in der Küche austoben möchte kann dies auch im Urlaub machen. Der Innenhof ist sehr gemütliches läd zu lauschigen Abenden ein. Wir kommen wieder, uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Alles tippi toppi!

Lage super, direkt in der Altstadt. Einkaufszone, Hafen, Sehenswürdigkeiten, sowie Bäcker in direkter Nähe. Das Haus hat einen tollen Innenhof, sowie einen kleinen Wintergarten. Alles ist super liebevoll, schön und zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Polster für Stühle können bei Bedarf genommen werden. "Unsere" kleine Wohnung im denkmal geschützten Haus, modern und doch mit viel Charm renoviert. Mit Herzblut, durch kleine Blumenväschen und netten Kleinigkeiten, individuell dekoriert. Die Vermieter sind sehr aufmerksam und nett. Man fühlt sich gleich heimisch, hat (wenn gewollt) auch tierischen Kontakt mit der Hauskatze.

Toll ausgestattete Unterkunft!

Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, frische Blumen, Begrüßungsgetränk, Essig, Öl. Alles was man sich nur wünschen kann, ist da. Von der Wärmflasche bis zum Milchschäumer. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, werden euch weiterempfehlen und bestimmt wieder kommen.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, total unkompliziert, wir durften spät auschecken, super gemütliche Küche, wir liebten das Sofa dort, aufmerksame, herzliche Gastgeberin, Tolle Lage, ruckzuck in der Einkaufsstraße und am Wasser... Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen
