#043 Comfortable Apartment Great Stay

The flat was clean, very spacious with two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen. The location is less than 5 mins from the old town square and 10 mins to the beach. It totally met our expectation on this level.

When we booked this flat in March 2025, it had a Booking com rating of 9.1 so we expected good things. On arrival we couldn't unlock the apartment block access door with the key. Fortunately a couple were departing and they let us in. After reporting this to the managing company they sent me a video of how to get the key to work. It helped but it was always tricky. A day later they sent over a fob key to bypass this door lock which was a big help but this only worked for a day. The sink in the main bathroom had no plug, was partly blocked and smelled foul for the duration of our holiday. The road noise at night was bad between 3 - 5 am from late night revellers shouting or chanting and then road vehicles. The apartment owner or the managing company need to quickly fix the access and smelly drain issues so that guests can enjoy their stay in the flat.

The location was perfect! In the centre of everything

The shower in the second bathroom did not work. I asked for this to be fixed but got no response from the host.

Durch die zentrale Lage abends manchmal sehr laut (bis 4.00 morgens grölende total besoffene Engländer auf dem Weg nach Hause).Die Einrichtung ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen .Die 2 Doppelbetten mit einer Breite von 1,40m sind ein Witz, ein Doppelbett fängt immer bei 1,60m Breite an und ich will nicht vorher in der Unterkunft anrufen und mich nach der Breite der Doppelbetten erkundigen.
