Maria Guest house

Maria is a lovely host, very friendly, chatty, helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The guest house is a gorgeous authentic Portuguese property. Very clean and great facilities, hair dryer, iron, fridge,air con, microwave, toaster,coffee machine to name a few. There is also a lovely balcony where you can see down to the square. It’s right in the middle of everything,1 min to the square and is surrounded by restaurants and shops, the beach is a couple of mins through the tunnel. Had a fantastic time, would definitely stay there again.

Nothing for us but as it’s in the centre it can be noisy if you’re early to bed, nothing ear plugs won’t solve.

Authentic stay with a warm and genuine host in the center of the town. 2 minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommended. I enjoyed a drink with Maria in this breezy balcony

Maria is the nicest and most gracious host and she makes sure the place is spotless. Room super convenient 1 min from beach and in the center of everything. The bed was comfortable and the room is equipped with A/C but with the blackout curtains I did not need it.

The place is in the center of everything so if you can’t handle noise and partying, make sure you have earplugs. It did not bother me. I was lucky to find parking just up the street but know that you will need to roll or carry your bags on cobblestones as she is in the pedestrian part of a busy and touristy street.

Maria was wonderful.. everything you needed was there for you.. and more.. loved it 😊
