Comfortable, Warm, cosy.

We loved so cosy, warm. So many wee extras. Makes it even more comfortable. There were such lovely touches. The river too and the two decking. Laura and Shirley so nice too. We did do it last minute. So thank you.

The lodge was nice and cosy and clean and had everything you could need like a wee home from home..I took my dog and he was made to feel so welcome..Laura who owns it was lovely and friendly..a bottle of Prosecco was put in the fridge which was a nice touch.

Everything you need for your stay is in the lodge, the decking area beside the stream is a great area to relax and it was so quiet, only sound was the running water and birds, the village has everything you need to feed the family.

Immaculately clean lodge. Great hosts

Owner Laura messaged to say the lodge was ready an hour early and allowed us in earlier. She was really lovely and explained everything to us including where to go for lunch etc round about us. The lodge itself was immaculate. Really clean and fresh. Bed linen smelt amazing. Bottle of Prosecco for our arrival too which was a nice touch. Highly recommend and will be back in the very near future. Both Laura and Shirley are lovely.

The lodge was very clean and comfortable, very quiet location. The lodge had everything in it for the whole family, books and games for the kids. Great location for going out sightseeing and for activities. 100% recommend for families.

Lodge was exactly as described, everything was perfect, "home from home" as others have said, anything and everything that could possibly be required was available. The owners have thought of everything, all mod cons, all possible kitchen utensils/appliances that may be required, family games, wide selection of books, a fan, a bluetooth speaker, the list goes on! Highly recommended! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you x

Wildlife near town.

Tje location is stunning and quiet with lots of birdsong and even pheassnts as well as rabbits popping in for a visit. Laura was very helpful and welcoming. As for te accommodation, it is compact but spacious enough. The shower is amazing and the finer details (like a bottle of chilled Prosecco and haiirdryer) wrre a lovely touch. Fabulous all round!
