The lodge was very comfortable, clean and very well equipped. I was up for Horse Trials so was not in through the day but the information folder had lots of great information in it, places to visit and eat at. The owners were very good at giving information needed in plenty of time and always answered very quickly. Highly recommend 😁
My car did struggle to get out the gravel drive way 🫣. My friend got her car out ok tho

The whole lodge is beautiful and very comfortable. The location is fantastic for accessing both Edinburgh and Glasgow and has loads of other options for days out nearby. The site was quiet and well maintained and the views from the lodge were absolutely stunning.
The only downside is that shops are a bit of a distance away, but that's not a deal breaker!

We really enjoyed our stay and found it a very relaxing place to come back to after a day out. It was clean and comfortable, and useful information was provided by hosts.

I little difficult to find. Our problem, the instructions were good. Minor kitchen things missing such as a cutting board.
