Die Aussicht war der Wahnsinn, den Sonnenuntergang abends zu sehen war toll. Unser Zimmer war sehr schön ausgestattet, viel Holz und hatte ausreichend Platz und einen Balkon. Frühstück abwechslungsreich und sehr frisch und lecker. Inhaber super freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Lage ist für alle, die weder mit Auto noch mit Fahrrad sind, etwas schwieriger. Der Bus hält direkt vor der Tür, fährt aber vor allem gegen Abend nicht mehr allzu oft und braucht schon ein bisschen bis zum Bahnhof und in die von Innenstadt Hyères (und war bei uns auch oft sehr voll). Ticketkauf nur in bar, etc... Restaurants fußläufig nur wenige. Obwohl die Halbinsel Giens in Sichtweite und in nur wenigen Kilometern Luftlinie liegt, gibt es keine direkte Busverbindung dorthin. Wir sind dann Richtung Giens zum Strand gelaufen, was gut geht (man teilt sich den Weg aber mit den zahlreichen Radfahrern) aber leider wird an der Straße gebaut und wir mussten zwischendurch sogar auf die Straße ausweichen - etwas abenteuerlich. Es wird aber gerade an einer Promenade gebaut, die die Situation sicher vereinfacht, sobald sie fertig ist. Also tolle Unterkunft, aber sicher etwas einfacher mit Auto oder Fahrrad :)

The room was very clean, everything was working and well designed, given the confined space. The owner is helpful. The pastries for breakfast were fresh and delicious.
I booked the room, because a thought it was basically on the beach. This is what the description said. But this is not the case. The is a nice sea view from the room, but that is it. The next beach is quite a distance from this location. The owner said about 10 min by car. The description gives a wrong impression. To get to the property you need to call the owner so he can give you a code to pass the entry barrier. The room is quite small - 15 sqm - so there is no table or popper chair. The the closet is very small, only about 50 cm wide etc. Breakfast is continental only, no buffet and it starts at 8:30 - 10:00, ie you have a time slot of 90 min. maximum. My main complaint with this property is that it is way overpriced. The price for the room with a sea view was 183 Euros, the price for breakfast was 16 Euros per person. This is equal or even more expensive than many Hotels with 3-4 stars in the area. I would have given 5 stars if the price inclusive breakfast would have been below 100 Euro. But my final bill was more than double, without the service you can expect for this price.
