Our stay at Le Bailli de Suffren exceeded our expectations. The location and amazing views were spectacular. The front desk staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way on several occasions to offer recommendations and assistance for local sights. We had excellent meals at both the main restaurant and beach restaurant. The daily buffet breakfast was fresh, abundant and delicious. We discovered the beautiful walking path just outside the hotel that became our morning routine. We couldn’t get enough of the gorgeous beach with its smooth sand and crystal clear warm water. We really hope to return one day soon!

Overall, we had a lovely stay. The setting is beautiful and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The food at the main restaurant was very good and the breakfast is terrific.
The views from our two terrace rooms were spectacular and sleeping with the doors wide open to the sounds of the ocean was absolutely perfect.
The rooms are spartan and modest but the beds were very comfy and the storage was ample for the small room size.
The resort definitely attracts families so there were many babies and young children. In our opinion, the furnishings seemed a bit tired and basic for its price point and is due for updates/enhancements. Also, it is probably a good policy to toss in a couple of complimentary bottles of water to each room consistent with many other resorts as opposed to the singular 6 euro bottle in the minibar.
It’s a winding trek to St Tropez which can be intimidating at night. We sadly only ventured in once. The old port and Place des Lices market were great fun as were the beach clubs in Pampelonne, however, the traffic and crowds were unreal and the roads tricky. We later recalibrated our restaurant selections and dined at night at restaurants within 20 mins of the resort.

Stayed here three times over the past 15 years. Gem of a hotel, not touristy. Great service, private beach and good food. I don’t leave many reviews but they deserve the recognition.
