We stayed at La Villa Douce for 3 nights. Overall we were pleased with our stay, on the positives the views are phenomenal and the hotel is very well located (although you will need a car to get there). The bathroom in our room was also very big and the shower worked very well! The bedrooms were clean and the beds comfortable but for such a beautiful view there were no windows to enjoy the view, we had to open a small door that led onto our balcony.
On to the negatives, the breakfast is really shocking … almost to the point where I would recommend you opt out of it if possible. It’s crowded and the produce is below average. The pool is very warm and crowded, it would be very hard to relax around the pool for the day which is why we went out to the beach every day. We tried the restaurant and were impressed we had dinner on our last night and the service and food were great. Overall I think the rooms could do with some upgrading to meet the standard of the views and restaurant.
