Loft Lori is not your typical Baltic Sea vacation rental. This extraordinary industrial loft combines the historic character of the former KdF resort with modern design—right on the beach.
Ideal for anyone looking for something special.
Loft Lori was born out of a deep connection to the island of Rügen. We were born here, spent our childhoods on Prora Beach, and remember the former KdF apartment blocks when they were still quiet ruins. Today, we want to give our guests the opportunity to rediscover this special place—with respect for its history and a clear architectural vision.
Loft Lori combines the distinctive industrial look of the former KdF resort with modern living comfort. Clean lines, concrete, carefully selected materials, and details reflect the site’s history without creating a stark contrast to today’s vacation experience. In every room, you can feel the love for Prora, for architecture, and for the sea.
The loft is located in the so-called “Liegehallen” and spans two floors (the 2nd and 3rd floors of Haus Hiddensee). This unique architectural style is rare and gives the loft its exceptional floor plan as well as a spacious, open feel.
You enter the loft via the upper floor. As soon as you arrive, the view opens up through the large window front with a sliding door leading to the balcony. The entryway features a coat closet, a guest restroom, and the staircase leading down to the lower sleeping area. The open-concept living and dining area, complete with a high-quality kitchen, is perfect for cooking together, gathering, and relaxing. During the warmer months, a Weber electric grill is also available for your use.
The two balconies offer different retreats: The upper balcony is ideal for breakfast or dinner accompanied by the sound of the sea, while the lower balcony is designed in a lounge style. The blue-green sea shimmers through the trees of the adjacent nature reserve—a sight that unfolds its very own magic, especially during the quieter off-season.
On the lower floor, there are two spacious, blackout-equipped bedrooms, each with a TV, as well as a spacious bathroom with a modern shower and a large bathtub—perfect after long walks on the beach, even on cooler days.
Prora’s kilometer-long, fine-sand beach is right outside the door and ranks among Germany’s most beautiful beaches. Especially outside the peak season, you can enjoy the open space, tranquility, and nearly deserted stretches of beach here—ideal for anyone seeking relaxation and nature.
Guests with dogs also feel right at home at Loft Lori.
The expansive beaches, the adjacent nature reserve, and the peaceful surroundings make Prora—especially during the off-season—an ideal destination for a relaxing vacation with your four-legged friend. Dogs are very welcome here.
Prora itself has developed significantly in recent years: a modern EDEKA supermarket, cafés, restaurants, small boutiques, the KdF Museum, and recreational activities such as a climbing park or bike rentals are all within walking distance. You can reach the Baltic Sea resort of Binz via a stroll along the beach or in just a few minutes by car. The pier in Sellin and the chalk cliffs near Sassnitz are also within easy reach.

Sehr schön individuell eingerichtete Ferienwohnung mit Superausblick auf Dünenwäldchen und Meer inkl. Meeresrauschen. Kurzer Weg zum Sandstrand. Auf alle Fälle gut geeignet für Kurzurlaub. Der "Riesenblock" ist evtl. gewöhnungsbedürftig aber mal anders als sonstige Urlaubsunterkünfte. Jetzt zur Osterzeit auch noch nicht voll belegt. Wir wünschen den Inhabern allzeit Freude mit ihrer Ferienwohnung!

Die Ferienwohnung ist wirklich schön. Sie ist optimal eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Ganz besonders die Küche bietet alles an Geschirr, was man sich wünscht.
Mit Kindern ist jedoch wegen der Treppe, die nach unten zu den Schlafzimmern führt, Vorsicht geboten. Wir haben sie mit dem Kinderwagen blockiert.
Nichtraucher müssen damit rechnen, dass der Qualm von den Nachbarbalkonen reinzieht, wenn die Fenster geöffnet sind.
Insgesamt aber ein schönes Objekt, nicht weit entfernt von Edeka und Bäcker.
