Bombonera apartment

L'emplacement est très agréable. La vue depuis les fenêtres et le bruit des vagues est exceptionnel. L'appartement est bien placé et plutôt calme malgré la proximité de la route. On peut se déplacer facilement à pied vers le mignon petit centre historique de Augusta ou des petits commerces/restaurants à proximité. Zone calme et ambiance locale. Accès très facile en voiture à plusieurs supermarchés et proximité de la gare d'Augusta pour ceux qui préfèrerait arriver en train. la Clim dans le salon est un vrai plus quand il fait vraiment trop chaud, mais sinon les ventilateurs dans la cuisine et la chambre ont parfaitement servis pour supporter la chaleur. Juan est au petits soins et très disponible pour toute question ou doute sur l'appartement très bien équipé (fer à repasser, essentiels de cuisine + thé/café/sucre/sel/poivre et eau à disposition à l'arrivée... Il a aussi été très facile de se garer juste devant le logement.

L'appartement est vraiment très agréable et permet une vraie coupure. Nous sommes venus au mois d'août, donc de grosses chaleurs qui ne nous ont pas permis de nous balader autant que nous aurions aimé, mais le lieu donne envie de revenir se ressource à une période plus clémente. balade le long du château vers le petit centre agréable, mais balade le long des "lungomare" sans grand intérêt. Léger bruit de circulation la nuit avec les fenêtres ouvertes.

Seeing the sun rising out of the sea from the east balcony just outside the kitchen is a great energy boost to start the day with, while seeing it disappear from the west balcony just outside the living room is a great way of starting a relaxing evening. That eastern balcony leans just above the clear waters of the Golfo di Augusta, with shoals of fish visible and a daily passing heron flying by only a pistachio throw away. Yes, there's a bridge too, lots of traffic, but at night, traffic almost absent, one can hear the waves gently lapping the building from the open bedroom window, a blue lullaby like no other. Tiled intricate flooring gives the place wonderful extra vibrancy too. Kitchen is bright and well equipped, leading to a small, comfortable bathroom with its window also east facing. The excellent shower with a view doesn't need to be described as exhibitionistic. A comfortable bed's mattress and pillows remember the occupants' shapes, and no matter how much luggage one drags around, the wardrobe gives it plenty of space. Eclectically decorated walls wow a bit more, and running into neighbour Mimmo raises a smile each time. There's no better located lodging in the whole of Augusta, an easy ten minutes walk from the railway station, with good shops along the road, twenty less easy minutes if lumbered with 35 kgs.

This was a clean, spacious apartment. The kitchen was well equipped, and the rest of the apartment very comfortable. Good communication with the hosts.

Das  Appartment liegt direkt am Meer am Eingang der Altstadt. Es ist sehr geschmackvoll  eingerichtet. Es gibt eine gut ausgestattete Küche, ein großes Bett und eine gute Dusche. Vom Balkon ein schöner Blick zum Hafen. Uns hat der kurze Weg in die Altstadt mit kleinen Geschäften, Cafes und Belvedere gut gefallen. Mit dem Auto haben wir Ausflüge nach Pantalica, Noto Antica, Brucoli und Megara Iblea gemacht. Syrakus ist auch mit dem Zug erreichbar. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Insgesamt sind die Sizilianer sehr gastfreundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
