Bed was comfy, walk in shower, location ok

Towels did not smell fresh - even though place seemed clean. Did not realize this was not a hotel. Had to pick up keys around the corner and had to pay for keeping our luggage. Both did work without problems.

The staff. No welcome, no smile. At the checkout I had to wait for 15 minutes in the hallway for someone to show up (the place is an appartment block, not a hotel). No apologies, of course. Then I have been informed I cannot leave my luggage with them until my flight. It would have been useful to have that information earlier, prior to making the reservation. In general, very hostile staff. And then the room: both sheets with holes in them, disintegrating pillows, mold in the bathroom and rust in the balcony. The chairs in the balcony look decades old. The bathroom sink faucet was loose and wobbling in every direction, and the sink itself didn't look like it had been cleaned. What I thought was a complimentary bottle of water in the fridge (as many places offer, including in Naples) turned out to be a half-drunk bottle left behind by the previous guest. Plus half a biscuit abandoned on the balcony from who knows when. In conclusion, the sea view is the only redeeming feature of this place.
