Section L Residence Asakusa East

Clean.

Bed to hard and pillows bad. Not really all that convenient to get places, small, very small.

Spacious sized apartment in Tokyo. Well located - nearby metro, Skytree, lots of cafes and 7/11s. Easy checkin and access. Loved the balcony and view. All in all, we had a great time.

location closed to Tokyo Sky Tree, about 10 min walking from the apt. 15-20 min walking to Senso-ji Temple. the closest train station is Oshiage station and another one but forgot the name. It was spacious for Japan standard, walking closet, little kitchenette, washer, balcony/street view.

They didn't send the instruction how to get a room. They gave me the door code and we stayed about 30min to 1hour outside until there were another group of tourist that rent a room and we were able to getting in our room. that was the only complain.

You can basically walk everywhere on the eastern Side of the city if you are not afraid of steps. Sumida Park & river are nearby. Asakusa is nearby. Skytree is really close. Even Ueno Park is only 40mins by foot. Akihabara is an hour. Which that, you have several metro lines to choose from when driving to the western part of Tokyo or returning back home. The hotel has no physical keys or key cards. Its code only. Which is highly convenient in my opinion. There are delivery boxes in the "lobby" which you can use to get stuff from amazon delivered even if you are not at home. The accomodation has everything you need for living there (I was there 5 weeks). The bed is very comfortable with many pillows to choose from.

The TV was pretty much useless. Its static on the wall, so you can't watch from your bed. What makes things worse is that there is a small uncomfortable small sofa which you are supposed to sit on while watching. Spoiler: I never did. I ended up using the TV only for a backup monitor for work. But even that is subpar because you have to look high up. There is a small balcony, but on the "wrong" side of the building. So you cant really see the Skytree unless you lean over the edges (I was on the highest 7th floor). Nevertheless, the view from the bed was awesome at night.
