A very large property which can accommodate a large group near to the town centre and harbour area. Great location with

The location is 10/10. Apartment has plenty of space for a family. 3 toilets are a bonus and the apartment was clean and tidy. Allocated parking space was a huge bonus even with it being a 5 minute walk away from property

Extraction fans ran all the time in the rear bedrooms. Wi-Fi didn’t work and there is no phone signal due to the property being underground

Fantastic Get Away.

Big spacious area to relax in and great location away from the busier areas but still perfectly close that a short 5-10 minute walk got you to the beach or town/shopping area. Also a fantastic fish and chips shop just around the corner.

It’s comfortable even some issues above but will not stop you for calling and feeling home while you are away.

Comfortable in some aspect, bathroom and toilet are excellent. And very spacious.

Dampness and ventilation. The shower get easily steamed you need to open the window and let the air flow. And no parking space available if you have a car. You need to park miles away and get lucky to find a space. Or else you have to pay £7.50 for 6rs at public car park.

Gloomy, dismal, with a strong smell of damp pervading throughout the place. Very basic decor. No mirrors for shaving???light bulbs missing. very basic ( but surprisingly not uncomfortable) bed. hasps broken on windows. no hot water in en-suite sink. mould in shower room. trip hazard in corridor. kitchen utensils worn and knives blunt.

great location , good home from home for families

The apartment was lovely and located in good proximity to everything which was great for us to walk to the beach or head out with the kids for a scooter ride . plenty of places around to eat or have a drink if that’s your thing . Apartment was very homely and the Wi-Fi and tv was brilliant for evenings for the kids

The only thing that I was disappointed in with this apartment was the initial cleanliness on arrival , carpets were dirty and covered with clumps of hair in various rooms , I attempted to hoover with the one provided but it was apparent this needed replacing or cleaning it’s self and whilst I do go away to spend the time in the apartment as a mum of two young children who often sit on the floor to play it was a bit off putting , the hard floors were still sandy from previous occupants and the sides and extractor visibly greasy . There were also dirty cups and plates placed back in the cupboard even though there is a working dish washer in the apartment so feel some occupants should be a little more considerate . Whilst I appreciate relaxation on covid regulations I feel cleanliness should still be a priority .

The house was spacious and well equipped, was clean and tidy on arrival and in the perfect location for our stay.

Has potential but disappointed us.

Musty smell when walk in Missing lightbulbs in celling light which when I said about it my 10 year old he went to stick his fingers in to see where the bulb was for some stupid reason but could have been a disaster if I was not there, needs light bulbs fitting! Bathroom is shocking, Needs a gd deep clean (skirt boards, toaster, bathroom) Mould on ceilings bathroom, floor dirty ideally needs new flooring. Handles missing on windows Rollers not clipped on properly Master bed is two singles pushed together No where to put anything in the bathroom No mirror in bathroom or bedroom No where to put clothes to dry Loud music / partying from neighbours at night till late in the morning 12am

FAMILY weekend

The location of pike house was perfect, the space inside was great for a family of 6 and a travel cot for baby to be comfortable and not be on top another.

The damp smell throughout the apartment, windows you couldn't leave open or on secure catch when not there. Court yard garden, messy and not secure for children to be able to access.

Pleasant

Great location, when we found it. Lovely large living/lounge area. Lots of crockery and utensils. Plenty of towels, although a little thin quality. Nice big TV with Amazon Prime built in.

Damp smell throughout property with some mould patches near main bathroom. Rear of property had access that could be used by other properties, so was unable to leave windows open during the day as some had broken catches. Beds in the twin rooms were too narrow for adults. No instructions left regarding rubbish/recycling collections, so we had to leave bins in the property. Shower had some mould patches on tiles and shower curtain was stained. No mirror in bathroom. Smoke alarm positioned above oven, so went off when opening oven door. Chairs in kitchen a little flimsy for large adults.

Perfect family holiday!

The apartment was brilliant! Very spacious and very clean. The location was perfect right by the harbour and a shop/post office 10 second walk from the property. It was well equipped and very comfortable. Great stay for family’s and the locals are really friendly. We would definitely stay at this property again! Thank you.

Good base

Excellent location, right on the harbour and a 10 minute walk from beach. Large property with lots of storage, coat hangers and well equipped. Comfortable beds, everything clean and new. Quiet despite its central location.

The property unfortunately suffers from damp. Clothes felt slightly damp when hanging in open wardrobes and double bedroom bedding wet on the corners from touching the floor. If you left clothes on floor they smelt musty the next day. Main bathroom smells bad and fan doesn’t work. Would have liked a second key and just a few finishing touches such as mirrors in bathrooms and toilet roll holders.

Very Mixed

Excellent location steps away from the harbour. Great space, 3 good sized bedrooms. Double is en-suite. Beds comfy. Big lounge. Comfy sofas, new carpet. Big bathroom and separate loo in addition to en-suite. Well equipped large kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

Major issue was noise. Not sure if people upstairs are owner occupiers or fellow holiday makers but you can hear every step, late at night and on the morning we were leaving they were up at 4.45am and woke us all walking around and playing music. There is another flat adjacent and they had a house party on the Saturday night until 1am. It was impossible to sleep and it didn’t stop even when we knocked to ask them to keep the music down. As with the flat above I don’t know whether they are permanent residents or whether we were just unlucky. The flat has a basement feel about it and is quite damp hard to dry towels etc although there is one heated towel rail. Poor ventilation though owners have tried with extractors in every room. Shower which doesn’t have a tray, doesn’t drain very well and makes bathroom floor very wet. WiFi poor. Controls for TV didn’t work. Only one mirror in whole property in Lounge. some of the issues can be easily resolved but some such as neighbours/ventilation probably are just things customers have to decide whether they can live with or not as not the owners fault. I think the property is well priced but I can see why it’s considerably cheaper than other properties in his location.

How clean, modern and comfortable it was. Excellent location too. Loved how it was all 1 level, especially as my mom struggles with stairs. Thanks so much.

Nothing really but could do with some more mirrors and maybe mark where the small steps are in the corridor as my mom tripped over them.
