Weymouth Harbour Luxury Apartment

Location fabulous, right on the harbour. Very clean and the bed is so comfortable (if you like a firm mattress) the welcome box is most welcome. The apartment is very clean - can't fault that at all.

The stairs up to the apartment are difficult if you struggle with steps - and quite narrow for suitcases. Noise is an issue but it was height of the heatwave and we had windows open, however I am happy to put up wit that for the location..

The complimentary biscuits and tea were a lovely, welcoming touch. The apartment was comfortable, spotless, and very well maintained throughout. The kitchen was very well equipped, allowing us to prepare most of our meals. The huge TV was an added bonus, and we particularly enjoyed watching the World Cup on the large screen, with access to a wide range of terrestrial and subscription channels. The sofa was extremely comfortable, as was the bed, and there was more than enough space for two people to relax and enjoy the apartment. The public transport links were excellent, with regular buses making it easy to visit local attractions such as Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Both are stunning locations with beautiful beaches and excellent swimming. The convenience of the transport network made exploring the area straightforward and enjoyable.

The main drawback for us was the level of noise from the road outside the apartment. During our stay there happened to be a Vespa and Lotus rally weekend, which meant a constant stream of vehicles passing the harbour and the road directly outside. The associated noise and exhaust fumes was very unfortunate. As we were visiting during a heatwave, keeping the windows closed was not a practical option. I appreciate that this was a one-off event and not something the owner could control. However, it is fair to note that the apartment is situated on a busy road near a junction, with a number of bars, restaurants and karaoke venues nearby, so some degree of noise should be expected. That said, the location will be a real advantage for many guests. It is only a short walk from the harbour and within easy reach of a wide variety of bars, cafés and restaurants, making it ideal for those who want to enjoy the local nightlife and amenities without having to travel far. Whether the location is a positive or a negative will largely depend on what type of stay you are looking for.

Welcome pack was a nice touch. Apartment was Brillant, clean just what we needed.

Unfortunately I’m a light sleeper so I could hear the party goers leaving the pub, and the seagulls were so loud.

Great location, decent size for 2 adults 2 children, dealt with a lack of towels promptly
