The Ferryman is a well-presented character cottage situated in town of Weymouth in Dorset and benefits from exciting and uninterrupted views across the harbour. The cottage can sleep 5 people in 1 double and single, 1 twin single bedrooms as well has a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a fitted kitchen/dining room and a sitting room. Enclosed patio with furniture. The Ferryman will suit families or couples perfectly located close to town centre and walking distance to the beach. Please note: the stairs to the second floor bedrooms are steep and narrow. Note: Please use the JustPark app to find the closest long stay car park. Please note: Parking permit available for Zone L Hope Square on street parking (subject to spaces being available) - expiry 20/05/2026 (subject to availability and council renewal). Note: For additional parking the nearest pay and display parking is at the DT4 8UD Nothe car park a few minutes walk.
Note: Fayre In The Square (usually late May Bank Holiday weekend each year) and Wessex Folk Festival (usually first weekend of Jun each year. These fantastic free festivals see the harbour and Hope Square closed to traffic. With live music, entertainment and stalls throughout the weekend. A short drive takes you to Portland Harbour, and the rugged “Isle” of Portland, linked to Weymouth by the dramatic Chesil Beach. Visit Dorchester, Thomas Hardy’s “Casterbridge”, only 7 miles away, or take a journey along the scenic coastal road and call in at Abbotsbury Swannery and Subtropical Gardens. Alternatively, just head down to West Bay - the views of the stunning Dorset Heritage Coastline are not to be missed!
