Lahili Boutique Hotel

First the good. We loved Mestia. Don't hesitate to visit. Re: the hotel, Nana (spelling?) - the woman managing the front desk - was the highlight of our stay. She was warm, welcoming, and super helpful with everything! She answered questions, arranged rides, gave advice, and helped troubleshoot...always with a generous spirit and smile. The hotel was well located, clean, and welcoming. Breakfast was included. Our room was large and the balcony was lovely and had a great view.

For the price, we expected a bit more. While the room was large and had a lovely balcony, there were many things about it that didn't work. The wifi was terrible (especially when compared to the quality everywhere else in the town of Mestia). The floor boards were so squeaky and loud; I felt badly for the people underneath us. The walls were bare and the room had no character. There was no shower curtain and every time we bathed, the bathroom floor flooded (no matter how careful we tried to be). The bed was OK but the pillows were uncomfortable. Instead of taking advantage of the views, the breakfast was in the basement (a concrete bunker type room) and while included, was very meh (especially when compared to all the other food options in the area). It felt like a slightly more elevated backpackers hotel. Honestly, with some small tweaks (shower curtain, a little decor in the rooms, better wifi, fresher breakfast) we would have been thrilled.

Comfortable hotel with lovely rooms and bathrooms. The balconies either look at the town or the mountains - either way is stunning. The breakfast was good. Loved the terrace bar with a great view.

The hotel is in downtown of Mestia. It’s very modern and everything is just like on the pictures. I really like the design of the common area on the ground floor and the restaurant. I was staying during the FIFA World Cup and watched many games on a big screen, there is also a bar. My junior suite room was equipped with a very comfortable mattress which is important to me. You can’t beat the view from the balcony and the sound of the river. The stuff is cleaning the room and changing towels every day, also you have bottled water supply daily! Every single person from the stuff is kind and helpful, truly good service. Elene was always there to make sure my stay flows perfectly well. They serve very good buffet breakfast in the morning with many healthy options. There is also a dog called Buchi - young and friendly Labrador living on the premises. I enjoyed my stay a lot and feel relaxed and recharged. Highly recommend!
