They made us move a couple days before check in. There was no good cabins left Without paying more.
Avoid Cabins For You. With our rental We spent literally 2 full days looking at cabins finding the perfect one. We booked it 3 months ahead of time had the perfect vacation planned. We wanted a cabin with a nice view of the mountain a hot tub and a pool table with four bedrooms. We reserved everything and everything was going great. 2 days before we we're scheduled to check-in We get a call from Cabins For You. There was damage from a storm and our cabin was no longer available. With 3 days before check-in there's not many options left. We only found one with everything we were looking for. We let the people at Cabins For You know what we were looking for. They don't have anything available for the same price ,but We found one it was a few hundred dollars more and they wanted us to pay the difference for it. I was told I had to talk to somebody by the name of Melissa to see if they could work something out and she would call me back. The first person told me she would call me back in 10 minutes. This was about 3pm. I call back at 6pm and was told is busy she would definitely be calling me back today. (They close at 8pm.) I called back at 7:45pm they put me on hold and come back and said she was not answering it would tomorrow before I could talk to her. On my lunch the next day I called again still wasn't able to talk to her so after a day and a half of waiting it's almost time to go so we just chose something that would kind of work. We saved a long time for nice vacation for a very expensive cabin. We ended up staying in a different cabin Bear Footinn. The cabin was really rough shape One of the showers didn't even work. One of the tables downstairs was broken with a leg propped up against the wall. The kitchen sink handle fell off of my wife's hand. The knub for the fireplace fell off in my hand. We even had to go get toilet paper.

Our first time renting a cabin and it was great even had bears visit under our deck
Having the key code given through a text was perfect
Only thing that could of been better was if there was a communal bathroom on the main level

this cabin had so much potential. we were so excited about our upcoming trip. on the day we checked in, on the way to the cabin, my parents truck got stuck in a ditch and they had to get towed to get out. we got to the cabin and everything was good. and then Christmas Eve the power went out. the mgmt people said it was the rolling blackouts. it was not. my husband works for the electric company and he checked the meter that feeds the house, it had power that it was feeding to the house. this means that the issue was the house. not the black out. I let the mgmt people know at 9am. we called them numerous times throughout the day to get status updates. we finally were notified at 6pm that we would have to find another place to stay. on Christmas Eve. in the dark. loading up all of our stuff. in 10 degree temperature. it was not a good situation. we also had 3 senior citizens and a baby. the mgmt people said that they would refund us for the remainder of our stay. then the amount they quoted us was no where near the correct amount. I had to call and go through the math multiple times with the mgmt people as well as the accounting department to get this partly fixed. I am still, a week later, waiting on a call from the actual manager.
