This is a quiet location on the edge of a wood and near a pond. It's directly off the A1 but there is little traffic noise. The cottage is very comforrtable, with a well equiped kitchen. We particularly liked having an ensuite for each double bedroom.
Light in the kitchen isn't too good but manageable with the under counterlights and the extractor light. The counter tops needed a good clean, and the cabin is dusty. We can live with spiders and their webs, but the dust was a challenge.

Jalan End was situated perfectly for exploring the Northumberland coastline. The cabin was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. We had an evening meal at The Crazy Horse on site. Possibly best to book in advance as sometimes gets quite busy. The food was tasty and the portions were huge. We will definitely stay here again if in the area.

The interior space, quailty furnishings, outdoor wooded, private sitting/dining area, lovely quiet location on site.
Only downside was lack of lighting in a very dark kitchen, just three very dim downlights.This was a real issue, and even the lights on the cooker hood weren't working. The kitchen itself was beautifully fitted and equipped but we had to use torches to put meals together. A real shame as we loved everything else about the lodge.

Lovely wooden cabin. Spacious and warm with everything you could need and more. Lovely location and private garden area. Would love to stay again and even live there if we could.
Shower door on front bathroom was not working so couldn’t use but other shower was great.
