Critters Corner is a recently updated cabin conveniently nestled just 3 miles between and 1/2 mile off the main highway from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Residing on a wooded landscape, wildlife can often be seen wandering about. From the upper deck to the picnic area, you will see small critters such as squirrels and rabbits to larger animals such as deer or an occasional bear. The peaceful location makes it a perfect spot to relax!

Outside, unwind on the outdoor patio or in the soothing hot tub. Inside, challenge your family and friends to a game of air hockey or arcade classics in the entertainment area!

With three spacious bedrooms featuring one king bed and two queen beds plus a double futon common area, there is plenty of room for everyone. Linens are provided. A pack-n-play, highchair and baby gate on site for your convenience.

The two bathrooms are conveniently stocked with towels and starter soaps. There are starter soaps for the laundry and dishes as well (for lengthy stays or several people, we do recommend you bring additional supplies).

Being pet friendly ensures a comfortable stay for you and your furry companion.
An animal crate is on site for your convenience (under bed).

Tucked up in the mountains can sometimes create a struggle with phone service. The cabin is equipped with a landline phone, Wi-Fi and Spectrum TV service to help accommodate your technology needs.

Have stayed at this property many times. Great location and well kept. Only one suggestion, and that is to replace the mattresses in both downstairs bedrooms. We had LOTS of black furry visitors throughout the week.

the place was perfect. it was quiet and each space had a spot to relax. the kids had fun with the games and it was nice 1 tv had roku. well built and kept up cabin. the host thought of everything you need during your stay, down to the coffee we forgot. we will be staying again someday. we liked it so much we stayed an extra night.

We had a great stay! The cabin was cozy and in a perfect location—right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, so it was super convenient for exploring both areas. My daughter performed at Gatlinburg Convention Center for her dance nationals and it was just a 20 minute drive with traffic so location worked out perfect. Just a heads-up: since pets are welcome, there was a little dog hair here and there, but nothing that took away from our experience.The kids had a blast with the air hockey table and Pac-Man game—such a fun bonus! We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was very clean and located on a great screened-in patio, perfect for relaxing. There’s also a small pond within walking distance with ducks, which was a lovely surprise and a great spot for a quick stroll.One of the highlights of the trip was seeing plenty of bears around the property—such a cool and unforgettable part of the mountain experience! We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a peaceful getaway with fun amenities and a touch of wildlife adventure.

This was our second time staying at Critters Corner. It was just as wonderful as the first. We love this property. It's very clean and has everything we need. Being able to have our fir babies with us makes our vacation complete. We love being amongst the trees and yet being close to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It just really feels like home away from home for us.

The house is very cute in general. But,..the cleaniess was just eh, amenities were lacking. 2 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people staying 5 day's, leaves had not been swept, up, therefore tracking them all through the house. The hot tub smelled very moldy, fireplace did not work, and the house was decorated for fall with pumpkins and leaves everywhere, our stay was from December 20th-24th, so... We enjoyed our trip and our time together, however, we will stay somewhere else next year. Weve been doing our Christmas family vacation for 7 years now, and was pretty disappointedin the lodging experience. z.

Overall, for the price, this cabin did everything we needed it to, but there were a few annoyances through out our extended weekend stay. We were staying here with 3 other couples for a wedding. Upon arriving, the tv in the living room and the primary bedroom were on, there was a used washcloth sitting on a shelf in the closet of the primary bedroom and food stains on the wall in the kitchen. This made us a little concerned about the true cleanliness of the cabin despite the strong smell of bleach that lingered when we entered. We had also planned on being able to make a few meals at the cabin but the kitchen lacked basic necessities that made it very difficult to do so. There was no sponge to wash dishes with, the dishwasher was full and left for us to unload upon arrival, the bathrooms had no ventilation so we had to shower with the window/ door open to keep the bathroom from filling with steam. Lastly, the sound and picture on the tv in the living room kept going out while trying to watch football games. The location is great. Its tucked off the busy road but right in the middle of both gatlinburg and pigeon forge. The hottub was a nice plus and we loved utilizing the many deck spaces to enjoy coffee in the mornings.

The cabin was in a perfect location, only minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We were impressed with the cabin's cleanliness and organization. The cabin had everything we needed. The owners responded quickly with any questions. We loved the decor., especially the Thanksgiving tree!! We will be back!! My kids loved the game room!

Our family had a great weekend stay here. Our ages ranging 13-70 and there was plenty for everyone. Rooms were clean, property was quiet and secluded from all the traffic and noise just a short moment away. Of all the cabins we’ve stayed in for our generations visiting the Smokies, it was also the best stocked in kitchenware for our stay! So if your family or group likes to stay in for some meals, they’ve got you covered!

My family enjoyed our stay at Critter Corner. Parking was a bit tricky with a truck but manageable. The flooring was hardwood and a little scary for our 90 year old dad to navigate so I would suggest perhaps placing a runner at the front door and area rug In the bedroom. Also needed bathroom rugs as there were none- you had to put towel on floor. Otherwise we lived the house!

We had an absolutely terrific time this week. Spaced between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg this home had everything we needed. Great kitchen, enough separation for our multigenerational family. The hot tub was a great way to relax. The games for our 7yo were fun. Everything was clean and, the porches were perfect for breakfast. Our pup loved the walks as well. No complaints from us! So happy to have a place to reconnect. When we are ready for the travel again we for sure will be back.

We had an amazing time! The property was perfect for our family and our furry pet. The house is in a lovely neighborhood that our dog loved and it was super clean. We were there with my son and his wife and the bedroom set up gave everyone privacy when needed or gatherings when wanted. They have thought of all your needs for kids and pets to make your travel easy and have all the comforts of home. The location of the house made it super convenient to run into Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, or most importantly the park for a hike. Critters Corner is exactly as advertised, very cozy. The home was spotless, it had all the extras we needed. It’s in a great location, tucked away but close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. There is a small lake around the corner, my dog & I enjoyed our many walks. The decks have been upgraded, very nicely done. We enjoyed the hot tub every day, the enclosed deck was nice and private for soaking. I would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

We had a great time here! Everything was exactly as described. The only issues we had were that the downstairs tv and downstairs fireplace would not work. These things did not interfere with our stay which is why we did not reach out to the property manager. Very comfortable, clean, and about 5 miles from Gatlinburg. Our stay was great, the cabin was spotless and in perfect condition. It was close to all of the attractions yet private and away from the crowds. We enjoyed the hot tub and the relaxing inviting atmosphere. We would certainly stay there again. The rooms were comfortable and had plenty of seating for a family. We arrived on a Thursday evening, booked this property many months prior to this trip. Booked it because it was close to the attractions we were going for and it looked nice in photos. They knew for months that 7 of us were coming, our 8 year old grandson was to sleep on the futon, everyone else had a bed. There were NO linens for the futon, we contacted the host. They apologized. Also in the screened in porch where the jacuzzi was the glas top table was filthy with rings from glasses and food splattered. Nothing there to clean it with. No sponge to clean the dishes. They left us 2 dishwashing detergent packets but were there for 3 nights, there was a kitchen garbage but just the one bag in it and no extra bags. They ask that all garbage be brought out to the trash, we had to carry the whole van out because it was so heavy, with 7 people in a home and cooking, i would think there would be extra bags, no shampoo or conditioner. Supposed to leave it cleaned up but no sponge to do dishes only an old dishrag. We have rented many many homes over the course of about 30 years and usually you get at least a small travel bottle of shampoo, a clean sponge and extra garbage bags. I felt like they were on a strict budget, but this is supposed to be home away from home. The extra linens showed up at 8:45 pm on our second night well after our 8 year old went to sleep. So basically had the linens for his bed for one night. The location was great, we saw bears, were celebrating 2 birthdays.

We were very pleased by the cleanliness and condition of the home. It has a great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It was a bit challenging to find channels on the TV, but we weren’t home enough for that to be a major problem. There was a little pond that was easy to walk around a very short distance from the house. we would stay there again.

Arr'd after 4:oo pm-Mon June 5th. Lock code not working-ring was no help at first, called # on reserv got us to Prop Mgr who gave us correct #. First glance everything looked good. Major Items: both bathrooms were dirty and infested with ants (we cleaned these for our own safety). One D-stairs bed had hair on the sheets (?what kind)--had to wash sheets. June 6th am: Water poured from D-stairs Bath via A/C vent--either ?rust or sewage as it was dirty, smelly water=bathroom unusable. Prop Mgr called Maint. We waited all morning for him. Water was not from D-Washer and he found D-washer broken and water was gushing up through the flooring in kitchen. Note: Prop Mgr stated she had no other property to move us to. This ruined that day-waiting for all to bathe upstairs, etc. Water went to a drip instead of pouring after a while. June 7, woke up to more water gushing downstairs and coming up thru the kitchen floor upstairs again. We decided to leave as cabin was uninhabitable. Other issues: Excessive dust everywhere, screen-in porch and balcony not cleaned, one recliner was broken, hot tub smelled, front door handle broken. This property is not fit to be rented out. Our vacation was ruined. We were granted by the prop mgr a one day's refund in the amount of $215.00. We did not get to go anywhere while we were there, spent our time trying to work around the cabin's problems. Therefore, we feel we are due a full refund.
