Room was excellent. Food was very good/excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and relaxed while also being very efficient and professional. Manages to match the standards of an up market hotel while retaining the atmosphere of a local pub.
Internet could be a struggle (particularly in bedroom) but we coped.

The staff were really friendly and the rooms were really good and spacious and the food in the restaurant was really good and homemade

Although the bar was busy our room was very quiet. The bed was huge and very comfortable.
The cooked breakfast was good but the buffet part had no fresh fruit, only tinned peaches so was a bit disappointing.

The property was on our intended route in a rural village setting. It was easy to find. The staff were very friendly the rooms were clean and if the restaurant is closed, there are places to eat within a short drive. The breakfast was excellent plenty to eat and cooked fresh.
