    This is a large hotel that caters for coachloads as well as casual travellers like us. The rooms are slightly dated but they are clean and comfortable. Food was fine and the staff were all friendly.

    My visit to Aberfoyle was to visit the Lodge Forest visitor centre and go for forest walks so this location was perfect for me and anyone wanting to walk or cycle. My aim was to see red squirrels 🐿️ which I did within the forest of the lodge, I also walked for almost 50km over my 2 days so both my goals were achieved. My room was clean and comfortable and my Scottish breakfasts set me up for the day. The hotel is approximately a 1 mile walk along a tarmac path into Aberfoyle which I found to be a pleasant walk. Staff were informative and friendly

    Despite this being an old hotel with a very dated interior we found it to be very clean, staff we could not fault, and breakfast was decent

    Perfect location for a fishing trip, staff helpfull and friendly, great breakfast included, rooms comfortable and clean.
