About this bed and breakfast
Modern, stylish and efficient 'Carriage House' home with its own private front courtyard and hot tub. This home is equipped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer and large screen TV making it comfortable for long stays or short vacations.
Parking is either free on the street or guests may use a private off street spot behind the carriage house.
The owners live in the main house in front and there is no shared space.
What to expect when booking: We are an "integrated partner" with VRBO/Expedia/HomeAway. Your credit card will show the rent/tax/cleaning portion of your charges under our company name because Integrated Partners are required to be the Merchant Of Record per VRBO terms of service. Only your "service fee" charged by VRBO will show on your credit card statement as a charge from that company and rest shows separately as a charge from our local Savannah GA company. Please be sure anyone who oversees your credit card statement is aware of this to avoid any confusion. If you book on VRBO you will have already agreed to our basic rules and terms (no smoking, no pets, capacity limit, check in/out times, refund policy etc) on the VRBO checkout page. Our system will email asking you to digitally sign a rental agreement with our company after booking through VRBO. Nothing in our company rental agreement contradicts the posted terms on VRBO. If you have questions about how integrated software partners are trusted and approved by VRBO and all Expedia Group websites feel free to call them to inquire.

House was much smaller than expected, especially considering the price. It was pretty obvious that by “Carriage House” they mean, renovated garage. That being said it was very new and clean inside. The only thing that could have been cleaner was the spa area and spa itself. There were acorns everywhere on the patio and around the spa. Going to take a dip reminded me of the scene from Home Alone when Harry climbs through the window and steps on the glass ornaments in his bare feet.
The beds were really soft, which some people like…unfortunately we are not those people. The low flow shower sucks. People, you are not saving water when you provide 1/3 the water but the shower takes 3 times longer to get the soap off!
The most shocking part of our stay was the neighborhood. We had never been to Savanna before so we did not know that the house was in a run-down, super shady part of town. When we arrived, we pulled up in an alley where we were greeted by an unleashed pit bull. There were two people further down the alley sitting in lawn chairs but they did not seem to care about their dog. There were also several condemned houses nearby and the area seemed like a great place to get mugged or buy illegal drugs. We did not feel safe.
Overall the property was decent inside but because the neighborhood was so sketchy I would not give this more than 3 stars. Also, the price was way too high for what you get. We were pretty disappointed because we have paid less for more.
