Riad Norma

Everything! It was a charming place, and the staff were very friendly. I was captivated by the great care put into every detail; it is a beautiful place! As is the case with all riads, it isn't easy to find, but they are true hidden gems. The location was excellent, especially if you need a taxi to the airport or areas outside the Old City, though it is also within walking distance of the souks (15–25 minutes). The room was incredibly comfortable, as was the bed; the bathroom was spacious and clean, too. Unlike other places where pools often seem smaller, this one is a good size and has a deeper section, so you can actually swim and cool off after a day of walking; they even provided pool towels. It is certainly a place I would return to and recommend to anyone visiting Fez.

The place was beautiful, spacious and opulent. The breakfast and the coffee was exceptional. The rooms were very large. However the best thing were the people they truly felt like family going above and beyond in every way. Younes even drove to the train stations to get tickets for us as we couldn't purchase them on line. Nothing was too much trouble. The lady who was in charge of breakfast was so warm, friendly and attentive. Nice to see mature people in these positions. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Personally I thought the bed was a bit too hard - however that changes from person to person.

The room size was very good. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
