About this apartment rental
We are pleased to offer you our villa apartments located in the hills above Saint Jeannet, a charming little Provençal village in the Alpes-Maritimes.
Activities
Right here, you’ll find a wide variety of outdoor activities, including rock climbing on the “Baou” of Saint Jeannet, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, and more… Some truly beautiful mountain trails are just about 100 km from here (the Vallée des Merveilles, for example), and there are many sites where you can try canyoning, via ferrata climbing, and more… There’s a wide selection of amusement parks (Marineland, etc.) where the whole family can have a great time. The department has about ten golf courses, each one more exceptional than the last. But of course, you can also enjoy the beach—the sea is everywhere, and its color is so extraordinary and so inviting!
Culturally, there’s also plenty to choose from: Saint-Paul-de-Vence, just 15 minutes away, where you’ll find the Maeght Foundation Museum; Antibes and its Picasso Museum; and in Nice, the Chagall Museum, the Matisse Museum, the Museum of Fine Arts, and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art….
Every summer, music festivals and concerts take place throughout the region; you can see and hear the greatest artists and bands across all musical genres.
Many of the surrounding villages are worth visiting, either for their quintessential charm or for their local specialties: for example, Biot with its glassworks, Grasse for its perfumery, and so on.
Let’s not forget the excellent restaurants, which are plentiful in the department: you’ll be spoiled for choice if you want to treat yourself to a gourmet meal—or even a Michelin-starred one! It’s also worth noting that Saint Jeannet has several very charming and thoroughly enjoyable restaurants.
The Location and Amenities
Although located about 25 minutes from the beaches, Nice, and the airport, Les Salsepareilles is situated in a preserved area and a particularly peaceful setting. The panoramic view is splendid, and the villa features contemporary architecture.
For groceries, you can walk to the small shops in the village (bakery, butcher, greengrocer) in about a quarter of an hour; you can also drive there, of course (but not into the village center!). There are several convenience stores just a few kilometers away, and several shopping centers a quarter-hour to twenty minutes away.
The apartments:
Each apartment features a private, enclosed garden as well as a pool with a counter-current system and a spa bench; the pool area is also completely private.
The apartments feature modern, tasteful furnishings, are fully equipped, and offer every comfort; all rooms are air-conditioned. The conditions are ideal for you to stay in the apartment and prepare your own meals in the best possible setting, if you prefer.
This apartment: A 3-room unit of approximately 68 m² comprising:
1st floor: Sun deck.
First floor: bedroom with shower room, toilet, living room, kitchen, terrace.
Basement: bedroom, shower room, toilet.
The total terrace area is approximately 54 m²

We spent our Easter holidays as a family with two adult children here and it was absolutely fabulous: The modern house is spacious, very clean and offers an amazing bird's eye view all the way to Antibes. There are three terraces from which you can enjoy the view: one with the pool, one with a large table next to the living room, and one on top of the house with lounge furniture. The architecture and landscaping is such that you have privacy on each of them.The kitchen is modern. fully equipped, and there is elegant dinnerware and a dishwasher - so we often cooked dinner and enjoyed eating on the terrace. There is a small farm a 5-10 minute walk nearby (down 5, up 10 ;-), where we bought some local produce (open Wed and Sat). This was recommended by our host Arnaud, who was very easy to interact with via WhatsApp. He welcomed us in person despite our much delayed arrival (Gotthard tunnel ...) and showed us everything, including racks for our four bicycles. Speaking of bikes - after our tours (e.g., along nice rails-to-trails paths to Grasse) it was great to be able to jump into the pool, which naturally was a a bit chilly at Easter but already fully operating, including an oudoor shower.There also is great hiking directly from the housee, e.g., to Baou de la Gaude and Baou de Saint-Jeannet.The nearby village offers fine restaurants and a bakery (la "Boulange...rit"), so no need to get into the car every day.Overall, a great place & host - we will be happy to return!

We found it all very suitable for us, two adults and two teenagers - nice house, well-functioning and in a modern style. Friendly host.
Nice kitchen, living room, two separate bedrooms with double beds, easy access to private pool, garden and terraces, and not least a very nice view over the valley with the sea in the background.
Hope to return on a later occasion...

We spend two weeks at one of the houses. The house is perfect for one or two couples to relax and enjoy, do sport eg cycling or trekking in the mountains. From the teraces you have a great view over the scenery to the coast. The owner is very kind and takes care of everything. Saint Jeannet is a very nice medieval village. It will not be for the last time. For us it was perfect!

Zwei Wochen Urlaub in einer wunderschönen Umgebung gingen leider viel zu schnell vorbei. Die Anlage mit den drei Wohnungen ist top ausgestattet und super gepflegt. Sie liegt sehr ruhig in einer Sackgasse, mit einem phänomenalen Blick über die Bucht von Nizza. Der Ort Saint Jeannet ist in zwanzig Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen, dort gibt es mehrere sehr gute Restaurants und auch einen kleinen Supermarkt. Schöne Wanderungen sind direkt vor Ort machbar, für alle anderen Ausflüge benötigt man allerdings ein Auto. Die Vermieter Arnaud und Annie sind sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit, und bei Fragen und Wünschen immer ansprechbar. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
