An absolutely wonderful place to stay in Kuklijica, Uglj an. Such a calm, beautiful environment to relax, but less than a minute away from the harbour with its shops and restaurants. Our favourite place was the smaller harbour just a little further around the coast (U.Gnjojisca) there was a little beach, diving board or concrete pier to dive off into the beautiful green water. Fantastic snorkeling - thousands of small fish glinting in the sunlight, just magic! And a very quiet area away from the crowds. As other visitors have commented, Svijetlana is a natural hostess, who made us feel welcome and relaxed from day 1. I particularly appreciated her attitude towards equipping the rental apartments - making sure that everything was high quality and as good as she would buy for her own use. So we had a fantastic coffee machine that ground fresh beans with a milk frother - luxury!! The cherry on the cake was the bicycles that were available for us to use - we loved getting up early to go and explore.

We had a fantastic stay and enjoyed every minute. The apartment offered all we need and even more - fresh fruits, cold drinks, comfy beds. The garden is beautiful, the pool big and the kids had great fun overall. Also our dog enjoyed the stay. Thanks for being such great, easy-going hosts and making us feel home. We will come back for sure.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Familienurlaub mit Kindern und Hunden. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, freundlich, herzlich, sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend - stets da wenn wir fragen hatten oder was gebraucht haben und trotzdem im Hintergrund. Die Unterkunft, Garten und der Pool waren wunderschön! Die Ausstattung der beiden Wohnungen war ebenfalls super

Paradiesischer Insel-Urlaub

Svijetlana und Zeljko sind für uns die großzügigsten und besten Gastgeber der Insel! Mit ihrem wunderschön renovierten Steinhaus, das von einem einzigartigen mediterranen Garten umgeben ist, haben die Beiden ein Refugium erschaffen, in dem wir herrliche Urlaubstage verbracht und uns sehr gut erholt haben. Das kleine Paradies beherbergt neben vielen Olivenbäumen auch Feigen-, Mandarinen-, Zitronen-, Aprikosen-, Kiwi-, Mandel- und Kumquatbäume. Durch eine Vielfalt an Pflanzen und Kräutern kann man sogar immer wieder verschiedene Düfte wahrnehmen. Die Pool-Anlage mit Wasserfall, Strömumgskanal und Whirlpool-Düsen lädt zu ein paar Schwimmzügen oder einfach nur zum Erfrischen ein. Verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten laden im Garten zum Verweilen ein und wer Lust auf Barbecue hat, wirft einfach die runde Grillstelle an, die einem Brunnen zum Verwechseln ähnlich sieht. Wer dann ins Haus geht, findet in der mit Liebe eingerichteten Wohnung (wir waren in der in orangefarbenen Tönen gehaltenen Obergeschoss-Wohnung) unter anderem eine gut ausgestattete Küchenzeile mit modernen und stilvollen Geräten. Auch angenehme Bettwäsche sowie weiche Handtücher runden das Angebot ab. Erwähnenswert ist auch der überdachte kleine Bereich auf der Nordwest-Seite des Hauses, wo man bei einem Regenschauer auch mal nett sitzen und den Blick über den Innenhof schweifen lassen kann. Hier haben wir bei kühleren Temperaturen am Abend auch gerne mal eine Runde Tischtennis gespielt. Wer sich kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen möchte, findet gute Lokale nah gelegen am wunderschön mit Palmen gesäumten Yachthafen (hier gibt es auch eine sehr gute Eisdiele). Und wer sich selbst jetzt tatsächlich von tollen Stränden, einsamen Buchten und vor allem von der herzlichen Gastfreundschaft von Svijetlana und Zeljko überzeugen möchte, sollte seine Koffer packen und in das Örtchen Kukljica auf die Insel Ugljan reisen. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp!!!

Ein echtes Juwel

Ich kann mich den anderen Reviews nur anschliessen, Wohnung, Garten, und Pool sind einfach traumhaft, und Svijetlana und Zeljko sind unglaublich herzlich, hilfsbereit und grosszügig. Kukljica ist ein kleiner Ort, der Hafen bzw das Ufer sind weniger als 200m entfernt, es gibt ein paar sehr nette und gute Restaurants, und die Insel ist definitiv nicht von Touristen überlaufen. Wir haben die Insel und Strände über die 2 Wochen erkundigt, mit ein paar Ausflügen auf das Festland (Fähre war immer unproblematisch) nach Split und Krka Nationalpark. Wir waren mit 3 Kindern vor Ort, der Jüngste ist 4, der Älteste 8. Die Wohnung ist zwar nur für 4 Personen ausgelegt, aber der kleine hat einfach auf einer Ausziehcouch geschlafen. Die Küche ist komplett eingerichtet, inklusive Kaffeevollautomat, man braucht nichts selber mitbringen (es hatte auch Salz, Pfeffer, Zucker, Essig, Öl). Wir haben unsere Tage hier sehr genossen, und ich bin mir auch sicher, dass wir wieder zurückkehren werden. Ich kann die Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, es ist wunderbar, und ich würde noch viel mehr Sterne geben wenn es denn möglich wäre.

Es ist noch schöner wie es im Inserat ersichtlich ist. Das Haus ist ein Stück Kroatische Geschichte aber auf neustem Stand, sehr sauber, schön und Geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Den wunderschönen Oliven Garten mit tollem Pool, haben wir jeden Tag genossen. Wir wurden von Svijetlana und Zeljko herzlich empfangen, alles war perfekt vorbereitet und unser Urlaub hat mit der direkten Ankunft begonnen. Die beiden waren immer für uns da, haben uns Tipps gegeben und wirklich herzlich betreut wenn wir es benötigten. Die Lage vom Haus ist perfekt, Parkplatz ist vor der Türe, es sind nur 150 Meter zum Meer, an der Uferpromenade gibt es alles was man braucht, Restaurants, Geschäfte und Supermarkt. Die Insel ist sehr schön, wir haben viele Ausflüge unternommen die Insel erkundet und eine Bootstour mit Wracktauchen und Höhlenbesuch gemacht. Es war ein Traumhaft schöner Urlaub und wir werden noch lange an Svijetlana und Zeljko zurückdenken und sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort sein.

Unsere Unterkunft war super schön, sehr sauber und es war alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Das gesamte Haus mit Garten und wunderschönen Pool ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt. Die Gastfreundschaft von Svijetlana und Zeljko war herzlich familiär und nicht zu übertreffen. Jederzeit wieder.
