Kukljica is love

The village of Kukljica is far nicer than I expected. It includes a selection of best restaurants of the island, easy swimming access for adults and amazing labyrinth of narrow streets akin to a medieval town. On the opposite side of the island, literally 25 minutes walk there are some pristine patches of rocky coast protected by dense vegetation and offering secluded swimming opportunities. The apartment is well planned with two bedrooms separated by the living room. There is a private terrace facing the sea at some distance. The owner is a retired captain, a very friendly gentleman. It is set in a rather well off neighborhood, which, while lacking some innovation, preserves the charm of "good old days lasting forever". The environment is quiet enough to sleep with open windows.

AC unit definitely needs a replacement. Not sure how will they manage the next heatwave. It was not a problem for us in June, as the sea breath cooled the apartment down nicely. Also, the toilet needs renovation, at least its water tank. Mosquitoes are an issue, and the protective net is missing in the bathroom window. I could not find a frying pan. It is needed in a kitchen.

Beautiful location, a short walk to the gorgeous waters of the Adriatic. Book your stay there now!

This is a lovely place in an amazing little seaside resort. We didn’t realise it was on an island and you had to take the car ferry but it turned out to be a wonderful experience and we wished we had stayed much longer. Highly recommended.

Very clean apartment. Quiet neighborhood. The beach and the city center a few minutes away from the apartment and in my opinion the most important very friendly and pleasant host. High recommendation.

Not every kitchen cookware available (cereal cup ...). Very slow electrical cooking stowe. No mosquito net on the doors to the terrace.

Exceptional

Excellent location: 1min walk to beach and 3min to town and restaurants. Very nice couple looking after house. Lot’s of room and nice views of area. Parking across street.

Only issue is location of property in Booking.com is incorrect. Correct location is in screenshot attached... Walking path up the back streets above the town information visitors center.
