We were refused entry.

When we arrived to collect the keys at 2pm we were told to find alternative accommodation because the host told us that he didn’t want us to stay in any of his accommodation.

Disappointing.

The accomodation had not been serviced since the previous guests. We were offered alternative accomodation after a 2 hour wait in the unserviced property.

A comfotable and well situated appartment. Also rather attractive.

The location was very good for what we wanted, that is a short walk to the centre of Elgin, as well as easy to drive to wherever we wanted to go. Parking car was very easy.

No surfaces to lay things such as soap and shaver etc down. And soap in shower. No teatowel in kitchen.

The property space is wonderful, set in a beautiful historic house and I have got to give the S.A.M. staff 110% for their communication and actions to rectify the problems we encountered

beds are way too soft, a few ‘arrival comforts’ would be handy for example toilet paper and milk

You could have provided wine glasses, bags for food waste, soap for the bathrooms and toilet rolls.

We would definitely stay again if we come up to Elgin again

We did our own breakfast, location was great just a short walk or drive from the town. Hosts were easily available

Unfortunately the bed was not comfortable it was exceptional soft felt like a water bed! It stated that the apartment was COVID clean there was deep dust along both bed heads and on bedside table in second bedroom, I think the hosts would be surprised to hear this because they seemed to be On The ball with everything else.
