Set on an acre of land along the shore of beautiful Lake Murray, this exquisite home is ready to host you and your family or friends for the ultimate vacation in the Midlands of South Carolina. Professionally decorated, this home features a gourmet island kitchen with solid service countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a five-burner gas stove. Dine outside in the screened patio adjacent to the kitchen or on the covered and fully furnished deck complete with multiple tables and chairs, comfortable seating options, and a TV. Back inside, the living area includes plush furniture, a Netflix-equipped TV, beautiful coffered ceilings, and additional lake views. If you bring your boat, there is a dock with water and power and an attached floating dock for swimming or fishing for bass, crappie, and perch. A high-capacity washer/dryer and high-speed WiFi add convenience during your stay.

The Master's golf tournament in Augusta, Georgia, is less than an hour away. Take your boat out on the water and head east to explore Dreher Island, home to a state park, walking trails, and gorgeous natural scenery. You can also keep going until you reach Lake Murray to enjoy the open water by fishing, water skiing, and much more. Back on land, make the 16-mile trek southwest to Newberry where you'll find several restaurants, shops, and other necessities. Plus, a community boat launch is right across from the driveway for easy lake access!

Things to Know
This Vacasa Guestworks vacation rental is operated and managed locally by an independent host.
Prior to your arrival, you will receive local host contact information, who will manage your guest reservation. Your local host will provide in-stay support, secure entry, and arrange pre- and post-stay housekeeping services.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Security camera details: Please note that there are two active security cameras installed, on the front of the home and one on the back overlooking the dock and backyard. They are two-way but do not record sound.

Dock details: The dock is 110 feet long, and the floating dock (where guest boats would be tied up) is about 20 feet by 15 feet. We think. Water in spring is about three feet deep, but increases during the year to five to eight feet during peak season. No ropes are available for guest use, but metal dock tie downs are available.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
